5/30/2010-5 Night Disney Wonder Memorial Day Double Dip! Roster-Post 626 on page 42

Our FEs are home-made with small colorful fabric bags decorated. Cheap but effective. The kids think they are cute (about a year old).

We got our documents today!!!:woohoo: We are soooo excited! Now if our weather would just warm up! We had more snow/rain today!:sad1:

One question (of many more I'm sure!): If we purchased ground transfers, should "tickets" of some sort been included in the documents that we received in the mail? I'm confused on how that part works. Thanks for the help! In one month we'll be sailing away!!

I came home today to a package on my doorstep and inside...

My Fish Extender is here!! It is sooooooo awesome! Gradysmommy is amazing! In just 30 days I'll be hanging it up outside our statetoom!

Can anyone say "excited"!?!?!

Hey everyone! In two hours it is May and guess what we are doin in May?
That's right-sailing away!!!
My FE is a Winnie the Pooh shoe holder I got cheap on ebay. I mean cheap. I would have preferred Mickey, but it was a deal!!
Someone upthread mentioned ideas for the kiddos. I do have two teen boys, and it is hard cheap. I was thinking water footballs/balls you can get at the dollar tree for the beach, they have some decent sunglasses at dollar tree (they could take those to the beach too) or definately candy or even like chapstick (the sun always makes their lips dry). My dd10 will love anything, truly. She likes to scrapbook, loves pencils, pens, stickers, etc. I read on the FE thread where someone suggested sillybandz. They even make an ocean pack. There are four of everything so you can divide them up. My dd17 wears them too. Okay, didn't mean to ramble on. I'm just sooo excited!:banana::banana::banana:

HI Everyone - I have been MIA for awhile. Had Medical Board Review course in Nashville, then just got back a few days ago from Washington D.C. where I was meeting with some legislators on Capitol Hill regarding the new healthcare reform. Aarrghh!! I need to get started on my FE gifts and just ordered my FE. Thanks to the one who put together the gender and age list, this really helps. I too would like to know the individual names and ages as I can't be trusted with this project if it requires too much thinking, by brain is toast after 3years of anesthesia school!! Ha! My name is Tara, husband is Adam, DS is Seth 5, and DS Ryan is 3. Hope this helps.

Quick question: Anyone know how I can see from my documents or online what my dinner seating and rotation might be??

Tara, as far as I know, you won't be able to see your dining rotation until you get your KTTW card (room key) upon check-in at the port.

I had the same question. That kind of stinks that we don't find out ahead of time.

My main reason for wanting to know is because I don't want to miss any of the restaurants. I was able to snag a Palo reservation last week for night 1. I didn't know if I need to be watching for a different date to open or not. I am guessing that whatever we are scheduled to eat at on night 1 will be repeated for us.

....and we all know what that means!! Disney here we come!:yay:
Checking off our list of To Do's and getting so excited. Got our docs on Thursday. Love the new way they are doing them in the book format.
Ordered our baskets from Shirley at the Perfect Gift (love Shirley's stuff).
Made our post cruise reservations at the Hyatt and got a cheaper quote when I called them directly than anything online that I have seen so far.:thumbsup2
So ready for school to be done and headed to WDW!:cool2:
Can't wait to see y'all!:woohoo:

we got all of the on-line check in stuff out of the way tonight!!! :cool1:

One step closer to the big trip.:woohoo:

Hi everyone,
Awhile back, there was talk about teens emailing one another. My nephew is pretty shy and 13. I think we may have talked about including him in some emails. He has finally agreed and I have his email address. Who can I pm to get Hunter included, if possible?

It is beautiful here in central Jersey today. It is in the high 80s and sunny. Just got back from a fun trip to a nearby, huge, flea market.

I went to Walmart last night and found the cutest Disney-patterned cloth. So, I have decided to dive in and try to make our fish extender. I was so sure I was going to buy one on eBay. But, after reading the directions for making one which are provided on the FAQs (the sew and the no-sew), it sounds like it would be pretty easy. That may be "famous last words"!

Is anyone else making their own FE? I would love to hear your story on how you did it and see photos if you can.

Only 26 days til we're on our balcony at BLT :woohoo: and only 28 days until we're on our balcony on the Wonder! pirate:

Have a great afternoon everyone!

Hi ksucats,

If your restaurant for night 1 is scheduled for Animator's Palette, something you might want to know is that the show at Animator's is only put on for the first night you dine there. If you have a repeat dinner there, you will not get the show. On our last cruise we were scheduled to dine at AP on the same night as we had reserved dinner at Palo's. Knowing we wouldn't get a chance to see the show any other night, we cancelled Palo's and went to AP. It was totally worth it!

Just a tip in case you didn't know! :goodvibes

Thanks. I did not know that. I would end up doing the same as I don't want to miss out on AP.

actually, they are not fridges at all... just small coolers. you can put the ice container in the cooler so that it stays colder.

All 6 times I have been on, there was a power cord to my mini fridge/cooler. It does not freeze, but it keeps things cool. I have never had to put our ice container in the mini fridge. I wonder if the fridge was not working on your last cruise? No big deal - As long as your stuff stayed cool.

Cruise Docs came in this Weekend!!!! :yay:

that was just a tip we read on the disboards before our cruise last year. we did it just because that was what we were told. yes there was a power cord going to the cooler, but the ice made it even colder. and there was a spot on the room attendants card that asked for the ice to be put in there.

I made my own and used the no sew as a guide. I did a little sewing/straight stitch to reinforce some areas, but it worked out well; did in one day pretty much. Actually, the dowel took longer than the FE itself.

We had to do the ice bucket trick when we were on the Magic, but not on the Wonder. Maybe we've just been lucky, but we've always had 'cool' cooler boxes :)
