AND FREESTYLE DINING....he could eat all day and all night!!!

That is one of my favorite things about cruising NCL... not the eating all day, but the ability to go to dinner when you're READY to go... millions and millions of restaurants manage to get it right every day, its not THAT much different on a cruise ship!!!

Jay & Jared left for the cabin today around 1 pm, and at about 3:30 I had a phone call from the guys at the shop that someone was there causing trouble.
Apparently he was REALLY lost...............I headed over there, and look what I found:

Probably his hard-working overeducated (for scooping horse poop, anyway) wife!
We went to dinner with friends, and I had to keep looking to be certain that really was Garry sitting there.

The next best surprise was that Jay and Jared had to come back down the mountain....so they also got to spend time with Garry!!!
They got almost all the way to the cabin and someone before them had gotten stuck in the snow, slid, hit a tree and made the road impassable. They had no choice but to turn around and come home.

So Garry got a surprise when the guys met us at the restaurant!

And how did it feel having your husband and son catch you at the restaurant with your mystery boyfriend? :scared1: Our own little DIS soap opera. :lmao:

What a fun surprise! Enjoy your visit together!

OM - when are you getting back from Ohio? Need to touch bases with you before dale flys down there.

Hopefully I can drop back in to wish everyone a Merry Christmas before next week.

I get home late on the 26th. Feel free to email, PM, call....however you want to talk. :)

What a fun surprise!! I'm sure he was just fleeing that cold cold weather!! :)

As for a cruise to Alaska, if Mark and Mary aren't going, we aren't. After all, we're stalkers. :)

Nothing I do surprises Jay any more. :rolleyes1
Jared just kept looking at Garry as if he didn't believe he was really in Cave Creek.....and Jay was really happy to have someone (other than me) to talk to!

It wasn't exactly warm here.....wish it would have been nicer for him. Plus he drove through Flagstaff right after the worst winter storm so far. :sad2:

We have some friends here who LOVE Alaska....and I thought for sure they'd join us. Turns out, the wife just managed to convince the husband that they needed to join us on a Caribbean cruise. Oops.

I'm always going the wrong way at the wrong time.

U-TOP!
Extra PDFG....and for Karen's mom & all!!

For those of you booked on the Pearl the Travel Channel is featuring it in a Great Cruises show that starts in 15 minutes. Enjoy!

PS - if you miss it this go round they usually replay later in the evening.

THANK YOU!!!

Good Morning All - Safe wishes to all who are dealing with the ice and storm today. We are blessed with beautiful, but warm weather in S. Florida.

Sam and I took the weekend off to head to a relaxing trip to WDW before Christmas. It was indeed, although we did try to do and see everything on our list (but did not check it twice). Candlelight - a tradition, Osborn Lights, Hotel decorations, a dip at the Spa at Saratoga Springs, downtown Disney, Animal Kingdom, in fact all but the castle at night. MVMCP was running for 2 of the 3 nights were were there and it was just too crowded and hectic to rush from the last showing of Illuminations to MK on Saturday.

We ate at the new Italian resturant in Epcot and we enjoyed the cuisine much more than Alfredo's, perhaps because it has more rural Italien offerings, which are more to our taste? Regardless I recommend it.

Meanwhile, the hustle and bustle of Christmas continues with presents to wrap and dinner to shop for.

I'll catch up on the past pages and wish you all a wonderful holiday.

Happy Hanukkah to those celebrating and lighting the candles of the first and second nights.

Yes, 2010. It does seem far away, but then the people going to the Baltics on DCL booked already, and that's 2010. I look at it as plenty of time to make payments, interest-free! ::yes::

I was checking out the ship...lots of places to eat....the bowling sounds like a blast.... and I love that we can book excursions any time. They don't have the 90-day-out rule like Disney does.
Then I was checking the excursions....so much to see and do!! And this one will be "Photographer's Heaven"!!!
Talk to Kevin, Diana...and think about it...it'll be fun!

OOPs 2010 - I responded to 2009......

Matt is traveling to MCO today.

He just called and he got bumped to a later flight. He is being delayed 3 hours.

He will try to endure it. Besides the travel voucher, they upgraded him to first class and along with a U of M cheerleader. I think they are having lunch together right now. :cool1:

The boy gets all the breaks.
