I'm going snowboarding over New Years.

Since Matt and I are making a road trip we decided to do something different and hit a ski lodge before going back to the base. I've never been so it will be something new for me. Never to old to try. We are also checking this lodge out as a possible option for Christmas 2009.

Of course my concern is that the following week I run the Goofy at WDW so I really don't want to hurt anything before running 39 miles. I know everything will hurt after Goofy so I guess it really does not matter if it hurts before I start the run.

If DCL was going we would have booked in a second. As it is we've started a DVC search for early 2010 to go back to Hawaii.

Everything WILL hurt after you snowboard for the first time... granted, you are in great shape, but you still might end up finding muscles you didn't know you had.

Actually, I've been on NCL several times, and really can't complain. They were great. Still don't know how I'd feel about leaving FL in May to go to ALASKA... but that's the last week of school anyway. Something about high schoolers missing finals that might not go over so well...

Actually, I've been on NCL several times, and really can't complain. They were great. Still don't know how I'd feel about leaving FL in May to go to ALASKA... but that's the last week of school anyway. Something about high schoolers missing finals that might not go over so well...

I guess that week rules us out as well.

May be Matt will attend to represent us. After all he will think Alaska is warm.

I did look up the cruise yesterday. Southwest has it on their web site, they seem to have pretty good prices. I got all the way up to the part where they wanted $1000. Still considering....

I haven't asked Kevin yet, he would say YES! Until I ask him for $1000.

Our deposit was $750. Laura said they offered an extra $100 OBC in addition to the $300 we got, if you make your deposit with a Visa card.

One highlight is only having a balance due now of $3450 and having 15 months to pay it off, interest free!!

I'm too stupid to think of that before I book. Jared is out the week before the cruise.
The best part about going at the end of May is that it's cheaper.
Also, the weather is nicer.
Also, it's the very start of their tourist season, and I read that they are all a lot friendlier in the beginning than they are at the end. The people of Alaska, that is.

Matt is more than welcome to join us. There's a nifty little inside cabin, tucked in the corner right next to our room.

AND FREESTYLE DINING....he could eat all day and all night!!!
