okay I'm home
had my trip to WDW and ocala the drive back on saturday was okay till I got in southern ohio SEEMS no one plowed the SNOW ???????????????

I need to get some phone numbers so I could just stop by for coffee , chocolate chip cookies or just a steak on the grill will work. Well guess it could be hot dogs over the water pan???????



back to stall cleaning I REALLY WAS THINKING of fireing the kid that did them while I was gone!!!!!!!!!!! not a good job at all.!!!!!!!

I'll have to take a picture of the truck with a real camera, in the sunlight. It's more of a gray, with blue in it.

Nothing makes it across the creek when it's really running....but no, this one won't do as well as the '59 always has. Guess we're getting old and we'll just have to stay put.

I've resisted long enough...... Dwight & I used to live in Grand Forks! Lived there less than one year (October to June 198?) and I don't think I ever left my house from November to May!!!! (OK, that IS an exaggeration, plus I'm a big baby when it comes to cold weather!) We did meet lots of people who lived/worked on the Base and really loved it.

The only advice I have for the car is make sure Matt gets a block heater installed. Yes, he will need to plug his car in at night!

OH, It is REALLY cold -- and windy! But the people are very nice! (lots of blonde hair-blue eyed beauties -- both male & female; I'm not just talking about the women! )

It's a short drive to the beautiful Canadian wilderness! And only 75 miles down Interstate 29 to Fargo, which is actually a very "happening" little city!

when I did COLD weather training each building had an alarm on it so if the furnace QUIT the alarm went off

No snow - just cold, wet rain. It's a good night to stay inside except for Mike's basketball game at 5:00.

Usually, they'd cancel everything with the threat of bad weather - but, we're making up 5 of the 12 days we were off for Ike (the state forgave a maximum of 7) Teacher work days and 1/2 days turned into school days. Any more days off and we'd eat into precious vacation time.
