Ohiominnie said that the Banfi is best with chocolate. Does white chocolate count??? I still want to try my creme brulee set. The chocolate recipe in my book seemed a little too involved for the first try. I found a white chocolate creme brulee recipe that sounds yummy. Maybe I could top with some raspberries. Seems like I remember reading something about raspberries on the Banfi label. Not sure when I'll get to try it though. DH is going to N.O. this weekend for his nephew's christening & to run a 1/2 marathon with his brother.

grrr....typed a big response and it was lost with finicky boards.

here it is in a nutshell.

mike's eye pressures are going up up up (presumably---his vision is cloudy and blurry in the surgical eye.) now on medication.

b/c of that, hoping to get maggie in the kennel so he doesn't have to deal with work/eye problems AND dog. looking forward to MY week alone in the house without dog and kids!!

did not buy small bottle of banfi.....only $5 more got me a big bottle.

can't remember what else i said. babbling, i'm sure.

I'm dangling the "carrot" tickets in front of Virgil and Frances.....a bribe to try to get them to come up! I probably will not use the tix....Jay's friends are going to be there, and he'll want to spend time with them.Is it working, Virgil? Are you tempted??

Of course 0 I can be bribed..... but I don't think the dates are good... something about Frances being installed as WV State Medical Association Alliance President...... Hmmmmm.... I guess Jimmy will have to wait....

Saw him last night... he kicked off his "Salty Piece of Land" tour in Jacksonville- great show as usual!!!!!!! (Especially when the tickets are free, and at the last minute!!!) I hadn't seen him in 12 years... he still puts on a great show!!

I hope that I get to see him.....
