Here's another benefit for those of you living in warmer climates. You don't have dark cars that turn white!

May car had so much salt dust on it that it was starting to look heather green instead of forest green. :) A quick trip to the car wash took care of it, but I know it will only last a couple of days.
That and the salt really eats the metal up!! :mickeybar

Have you contacted Vaqueros about availability and cost?

If I'm reading that right, they leave from Santa Barbara and travel to Catalina. Thats quite the boat ride. Is that correct?

I've sent them an email for the info. From what I read it is open for members until May and than non-members.

But of course, there are many other liveaboards in the same area. Someone will be able to do it for us.

Cool! Figured you had.

Went online and was checking out some South California dive boats :fish: and some don't even have the schedule done that far out and the ones that did don't have much in the way of 3 consecutive days before your meeting. Lots of time to plan and wish..... :hourglass

Hello,
This is my first post to this Double Scoop Thread. My family (DH, 2 DS) (I am not sure if that is the correct lingo for Disney husband and two Disney sons 5 and 2 current ages) LOL and mother are going on this cruise too!
Has anyone found out much about Costa Maya? This will be our first 7 day cruise. Love being able to go on a fun family trip! :cool1:

Yeah Disney Fans, I am glad to see that you finally mde it over here and posted to our thread! Welcome aboard. I have not really been looking for info on Costa Maya yet. Some cruises went there in Sept to get away from hurricanes and most seemed to like it. Some did not.

Amanda... thanks for the LARGE PRINT... sure is easier to read after a long day at work!!!!

Just looking at the calendar... it has been 2 years to the day since my last cruise.... waaaahhhh!!!! I am way past withdrawl now!

:flower1: Good morning cruisers!:flower1:

TGIF!

I've got to be in the office extra early today (before 7) so I'm just stopping by to give a quick hello!

A quick check of the boards and then I'm off. I'll check in from work if my press ok goes fast.

Have a great day everyone!

Wow, Mary you're good. What kind of work do you do that gets you into work this early? I'm awake by then, but not functioning in a "work" mode yet. You go girl. :earseek:

I'm in direct mail. You know those wonderful personalized pieces you get from say your credit card company or maybe your cable company (not bills but offers)? That's us. I'm a supervisor in the Account Management or Customer Service department. We have a small staff and have gotten busier so I'm back running a few jobs myself. Part of that job is doing press ok's for the printed pieces for our customers. I had one that was at 7 am this morning. The good thing was that our plant is connected to our office and the office is only 5 minutes from home. I'm usually here by 7:15 or 7:30 so a half hour didn't make too big a difference.

I'm glad to see that some people are functioning at that time of day. I am certainly not one of those people. :sad2: It's a nice day here, but winter will return by Saturday. I'm tired of it and it's only Feb. I'm in big trouble. Florida's looking real good right now![/SIZE]

Susan... its not much better in FL today... 49 and cloudy, misty, and windy. The good news is that regardless of what the Groundhog says, WE won't have 6 more weeks of winter!:sunny: Stay warm!

Looks like we're having a better day than you. The temp is 49 now with a high of 59 but the sun is shining & it's beautiful outside today.:flower: Our weekend should be really nice too!!! :Pinkbounc

Good for you. We are in Ft Lauderdale this weekend, gymnastics and diving (in that order). Winds 15 knot out of the north. Waves 6-12 ft. It looks like diving is going to be a bust, but we will take everything just in case something good happens.

Where is everyone tonight? I expected to come home from family "date" night and have a ton of posts to read. I'll probably be putting the girls to bed soon then turning in myself ... just not feeling great tonight ... darn sinuses!!!

Hope everyone has a GREAT weekend! :flower:

I'm here...

It has been so cold in FL today!!! Miserable weather!

This weekend is total chaos for me... DH will be working all weekend (the Rolex24 is in town:rolleyes: ), and DD has the US Open Cheer Championship in Orlando. So that leaves DS... pawning him off for some 'quality time' with Grampa tomorrow... haven't figured out what to do with him on Sunday yet... might just send DD off to her comp. with another mom. I hate to do that, but I know that this one is taped for television, so if they do well, I'll still see it... a few weeks from now.

I'll probably catch up with the board while watching my Patriots win on Sunday night! Go PATS!

Bummer!! It's been off and on here as well.

Another winter storm moving through this weekend with snow and rain. And to think I was considering washing my truck.......
