Happy Wednesday!

It's Groundshog Day - Woo Hoo!

I can now go to work in light and come home in light (if I don't stay too late).

Two more good things about FL...

Groundhog day is a joke...:sunny:

It's ALWAYS light when you go to work and when you come home... even in Dec. (as long as you work 'normal' hours.) :cool1:

And a TOP pirate: to start my morning!

Agree. Just wish I would get in the habit of doing the normal hours.

Last night I replaced a screen on the pool deck to keep the cat in. It was 7 PM and I wore a sweatshirt. I thought of all our friends in Chicago.

Have to get everything all cleaned up because OhioMinnie is coming down!:flower:

Yeah... this 2 days in a row of 'bad weather' is getting old, isn't it!

We're bound to have good weather when they get here!!! (It's the least you can do to welcome the tourists!)

Lucky you! If we lived that close, I think we'd be taking frequent trips to WDW ::MickeyMo or at least to visit my sister & family in Lake Mary, FL.

We absolutely love living this close to WDW We probably go there about every 4-6 weeks for a few nights, if we can find decent rates. Dominique thinks she has to go all the time. Our work schedule allows us plenty of off time.

I think I need to go all the time too. Even though we live 3 1/2 hours away by AIR. We have two weeks planned as soon as school gets out, five nights at BCV in August in case we can sneak back. I'm patiently waiting for next years' school calendar to come out, just in case there's a break in October. Would love to sneak off to the F&W again, but we would need another room at BCV to do that!

Hello,
This is my first post to this Double Scoop Thread. My family (DH, 2 DS) (I am not sure if that is the correct lingo for Disney husband and two Disney sons 5 and 2 current ages) LOL and mother are going on this cruise too!
Has anyone found out much about Costa Maya? This will be our first 7 day cruise. Love being able to go on a fun family trip! :cool1:

Happy Thursday!

Disney Fans - welcome to the DIS and this fun group! You can meet many of us by clicking on the 5/27/06 link in my signature. We'd love if you would send your information and a picture in as well. You can e-mail me at marygums@monorailgreen.info

Well I'm off to read the rest of the boards. Have a great day everyone!

Kevin, here is something to think about.

I am going to be in San Francisco (as it currently stands) 9/14 to 9/18.

There is a three day trip to the southern Channel islands on the Vision (truthaquatics.com) with the Vaqueros Del Mar dive club (vdmdiveclub.org). That trip is 9/10-9/13.

There might be an opportunity here. :goodvibes

Have you contacted Vaqueros about availability and cost?

If I'm reading that right, they leave from Santa Barbara and travel to Catalina. Thats quite the boat ride. Is that correct?

Welcome, Welcome!!

There are a couple (or more) divers on this trip and I for one am excited about the port. Here is some General Info about the area. If you're into scuba diving or snorkeling, we will be booking dives with Blue Ha Diving which sounds terrific. :cool1:

and a shared TOP pirate: with Disney Fan as well!!

When I left for our cruise in January, there were 60-some pages on this thread. Wow, you people are chatty!!! :Pinkbounc

How will I ever catch up? I don't think I have time between now and May 2006 to read all those other pages. :confused3

Anyway, we look forward to cruising with all of you!

You don't have to read it all! A lot of it is just fluff anyway. If there's anything important, it will be brought up again. Please keep posting! We'd like to get to know you!

Amanda, you too. :flower:

Yes we are a chatty bunch - no denying that :flower:

Those of us who were on the 12/18 cruise found that all the chatting really helped us get to know each other and I think it made the cruise that much better.

As Diana said jump on in as often as you can!

Here's another benefit for those of you living in warmer climates. You don't have dark cars that turn white!

May car had so much salt dust on it that it was starting to look heather green instead of forest green. :) A quick trip to the car wash took care of it, but I know it will only last a couple of days.
