As we head to Castaway Cay today I am already looking forward to the 5/2006 cruise when we will get two days at that great island.

Just wish they had diving there!

I like that idea! When I tell people that I've booked a cruise for 2006, they think I'm CRAZY! In a few days I'll be able to say that we're cruising next year.

Hey everybody... did anyone look at the calendar today..... it's December 27th... so 17 months from today (actually, 17 months and 33 minutes from RIGHT NOW) we'll all be standing on the deck, adult beverage in hand, hearing those 'Magic'al notes chiming from the smokestack!!!! Whoooo hooo!!!

YAY welcome aboard WDWlover and Scuba!!!! LOL Looks like you all had a great time going on your cruise and cant wait to meet ya ;-) I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! Santa way over did things here, even though our 11-27-04 was supposed to be our gift! SIGH.......why does he do this??? LOL WE went to visit my borther in Destin Florida, and we only got in late last night. My parents had driven to his house from COlorado, so we had a nice mini family reunion. We were only missing my younger brother, who is a starving student in college, and had to work the day after Christmas! LOL

We are back from our 10 days of Magic. It was tough for all of us, leaving the Magic and heading to the office. The kids did laundry all day. We are making a list of all the things that we did not use on this trip so we can pack less stuff for the next one (yea sure).

I know you will be hearing from several more who signed up for this one on board. If it comes even close to the 10 days with DISers, it will be a great trip.

scuba_diver, I'd love to know what you wouldn't bring next time. I'm a first time cruiser and need all the help I can get! Besides, DH HATES when I overpack.

Cajun, one thing that I packed on our 6/5/04 cruise was socks for everyone for 10 days (our total vacation time). We MAYBE each wore one pair. The rest of the time was spent in flip-flops or sandals. That's one thing I won't overpack next time...

Wow... that's 60 socks... WAY more than anyone needs on an island vacation!!! Imagine all the room that will free up in your suitcase!!!

Yeah, I realize, NOW, that all those socks weren't necessary. But cut me some slack; it was our first time!

Better yet, bring OLD socks and underwear that you can throw away after you wear them on the trip... frees up more room for bringing home good vacation memories!!!

Yay another member on board! We are going to have fun fun fun! I just realized I will turn 31 while on board! The 31st!
