I just realized I will turn 31 while on board! The 31st!

Oh, to be 29 again! We'll have to celebrate on board!!!

OK but 29 with 4 kids qualifies me for a senior discount :-) hehe hehehehehe

Or at least the insanity plea... only kidding - you must be an awesome Mom to take 4 little ones on DCL!!!!!!

My parents took me on my first cruise when I was 7... and I still appreciate it today... 30 years later- I caught the cruising bug at a very early age, back in the day when children didn't GO on cruises... the 'Kids Program' was that you left your kids at home!!!!!

(See related thread on behavior contracts... my parents only words to us at the dining table were, "Look around you... all these other people left their kids HOME!... so they don't want to hear you..." ... message received loud and clear!)

Yay, this is going to be so much fun, I just can't wait to meet everyone on board. We may be going to WDW next December so I will have something else to plan for in addition to our cruise.

Joining this thread to meet new friends and sail again with 'old' friends.

Welcome over here Dobelover. It looks like we can't get enough of the DIS experience.

scuba_diver, I'd love to know what you wouldn't bring next time. I'm a first time cruiser and need all the help I can get! Besides, DH HATES when I overpack.

There are a few lists out there about things to pack which are pretty good. The main thing about clothing is to make a pile of everything you think and you and than take half of it.

Scuba.Mom will be posting once she is finished unpacking from the 10 day and she has some pretty good lists.

First day back to work after the cruise. Thank goodness it is only for one day and then I get 4 off :D

Thought I would take a minute and introduce myself to you all.

I'm Mary (47) and my DH is Mark (37) known on the boards as MarkRG.

This will be our 8th Disney Cruise.

We did a 3 day (as part of land/sea package) back in October 1999.

7 day Eastern in May 2001.

4 day in May 2002

4 day DVC Member Cruise in Feb. 2003

7 day Western in May 2003

10 day Holiday cruise December 2004

4 day DVC Member Cruise scheduled for Sept. 2005

Looking forward to this cruise with its 2 days at CC. We always like to see a new port so looking forward to Casta Maya and our plan for Cozumel is to do the Tulum ruin tour.

We had so much fun with all our DIS friends on the 10 day (many of which have also signed on for this cruise) and I'm looking forward to getting to know each of you as well. I'll have to go back and read the thread from the beginning to catch up. Maybe tomorrow when I'm at home.

Wooo hooo! I just went from "Earning My Ears" to "Mouseketeer"! Had to share it with 'the family of double-scoopers"!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Doesn't take much to make me happy!!!

I cant remember if I posted or not, but we tried late seating with the kids on our 11-27 cruise, and I am telling you it was sooooooooooooooooooooo much better than last year!!!I had 4 kids ages 9,8,5 and 1. The 3 older kids only ate with us twice, the rest of the time they fended for themselves. LOL They had so much fun, and it was nice not to have to rush to get ready every evening. We had some down time, which I just didnt feel we got last year. I would like to start a list of everyones screenname, real name and room number. I am too lazy to go back and look, so if you dont mind would you repost your info? Thanks

I know you all probably think I am nuts for starting this so early, but a cruise is always so much more fun when you "know" people before you even step foot on the ship!

PS Randi, does Ashlyn know about this cruise yet? We will have to let her and my Taylor penpal up. Maybe we can get them together via email and just tell them about being Disney penpals and make no mention of the cruise? Let me know what you think! My kids love having penpals!
