OK, lets walk through this....

You're on the surface, face down, snorkel clippped to the left side of your mask, your breathing....... You spot something on the bottom and decide to surface dive to check it out. So, you would take a breath of air, holding it in your lungs and tuck and dive.

Acsend, hand up (making sure you don't bonk your head on anything) and then level out flipping your head forward and expelling the last breath of air from your lungs, clearing the snorkel as you get to the surface. Sounds simple enough eh?

Karen, I'm thinking you have a WalMart special that leaks either at the swivel or at the mouthpiece. There is a little round piece of rubber on the bottom of the snorkel that acts as a valve. If this gets cruddy, folded or damaged then water will come in when it's not supposed to! Check it out or have Mike do some exploratory surgery and see if that is the problem. You might want to practice at the pool prior to the cruise to ensure proper operation.

OK, thanks for the explanation. Now who has a pool that we could practice in?

Of course you can come visit and check the place out. I am curious to see it too since we have never cruised.
We could have a 'room tour' on the schedule. I wouldn't mind showing my lowly Cat 7 to those who are curious, especially ones that haven't cruised before. In fact, I can't wait to see our Cat 7. Last time we cruised we were in an 11 on deck 6; that's the only one that we've ever seen except in pictures. If we ever cruise again I'm sure it will be in a 10 or 11; I'd like to check out the deck 2 cabins, too.

and a UTOP!

Karen - that is a pretty good idea (you must be remembering the problems we had with the room tour on SSMC05). I would say a good look a the navigators for the sea days on the Western would give Debb a pretty good idea of what is going on. Taking into account both Palo brunch and High Tea. I think it would be good to pick a date and time and then have a note of change if needed.

OK, so this has been done before...

Room tours - as far as I know it has been done successfully on the repo cruises because of all the sea days. It was planned but not done on the DVC Member Cruise because of other things interferring with it. While I think it would be fun it would take someone time to organize it and be the go to person if it needs to be cancelled like it was on the Member Cruise.

Looking back through some posts, I have found the following people at the Radisson on Friday:

TiggerInNY
whnim64
ladypoo
itdjbw
BWVPam
DBCS
DVCDebb
MickeyMo

Did I miss anyone?

Only a few more posts before I hit 1000! I guess I'd better pay attention and think of something profound.:scratchin

Is it 4:00 yet? I'm so ready to get my girls & hit the park before gymnastics. And for all of you smart-alecks, I know it's 4:00 SOMEWHERE.

OHMinnie, I think formal night IS Mon. night (at least it is on Mary's site). That was the only night we could get ressies too. Ours are early 6:00 PM... which overlaps our early dining. I wanted formal night too. I'm pretty sure that yours were on the same night ... not that I'm stalking you or anything. :lmao:

Ang

You're probably right. I'm most likely wrong. :) Maybe I wanted Palo on TUESDAY night instead but could only get Monday. :confused3 We used to OVERPLAN our cruises. This one we're flying by the seat of our pants.

I heard this one goes to CC twice, is that true?? HA HA :lmao:

I'm just guessing here but I also think that ohiomickey likes having one nice adults only meal with ohiominnie which is why he likes Palo.

NAAAAAAH!! Every Friday at work they have a meeting which includes lunch. THat is an "all adult meal." No kids. That's enough, isn't it? :lmao:

We do, but last I heard we aren't going to open it until we get back. That way no one has to deal with the possible maintenance issues.

Just taking a break from detailing the car. Uh....could someone please tell ohiomickey NOT to leave Olive Garden chocolate mints in the compartment with his hospital ID badges, loose change and pens??? Especially now that it's getting warmer and on a sunny day the internal temperature of a black SUV hovers right around 120 degrees?

I checked Quicken. We ate at Olive Garden on March 1st!! EAT THE MINTS ALREADY!!! :) Oh, that's right....you weren't hungry --probably b/c of the bags of COMBOS I found stashed in the OTHER compartment!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

love ya, Cupcake...

Since you have all this experience detailing black Sequoias, wanna come down and detail mine? I don't have any chocolate stashed anywhere.

No. You're probably right. Whatever it is, I want it differently (isn't that always the case?)

Tell ya what? *I* don't really like Palo dinner....but DH does. Maybe the two of you can go to Palo dinner together and I'll just eat in my regular dining room. BUT....ONLY if you bring me back a chocolate souffle!

ohiomickey...do you have a problem with that?

Thanks for the offer...but the more I think about it the more I think that I don't want to take away from any of the "alone" time  that I am sure the average Palo-going couple is having.

Maybe I will just make some ressies, go up there and get a few desserts to go, and suddenly have 83 new best friends! :lmao:

Everyone have a good weekend. We are off to Phoenix for a real fast roadtrip. We have tickets to see the Wiggles, which I am sure my 2-year old daughter will love.

We would be willing to include our sideways cat 11 on the tour for anyone who wants to see the broom closet! Of course, I would rather be in a broom closet on the Magic than not on the Magic at all.

:lmao: We have a standard cat 11 - I was going to offer ours, too!

I shouldn't have answered my phone! I was 5 minutes away from walking out the door.

I made nachos for dinner last night and afterward DH said that it wasn't a great meal choice considering he's running a 5K tomorrow. Then he requests that I cook my "Greek" pasta tonight. That's not gonna happen since I pick up the girls, go to gymnastics for an hour and don't get home until 6:45. Sorry, the girls & I are having nachos again. He can fend for himself! Think I'll have a Mike's with my dinner tonight.
