We all brought a bottle from our home states last year.....and I think you're right, and Jim was teasing...not enough room in a Cat 3. Too bad all of us 3's aren't connecting with a way to open the verandahs! Who has the WALT??? LOL

The "Vegas Men" thing is an inside joke. I go to Vegas a lot, and whenever one of the other DISers is there, I try to make the trip for a mini DIS meet....but it seems like it's almost always the MEN who are there!!! ;)

HEY...I just thought of something.....do you know William Watters?? I think he was a judge in Las Vegas....attorney, maybe.....he was a very good friend of mine in high school. Really funny guy.

No, unfortunately, I do not know him... the name does sound familiar though... we do have some very "Colorful" judges here thoough... after all it is VEGAS... lol... :rotfl:

Why don't you just have 83 extra Key to the World cards made for your room and we can all come and go as we please. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Hey, Walt was a dreamer...... :)
WE are in the Roy not the Walt. But both look great from pics. Will be surprise for us too. Don't think 83 KYW cards idea would work to well. Maybe we should just have Mary add a tour time to the navigator.

And I read your aviator incorrectly - you are formerly Conn....so not quite so cold.....also not as close to the ocean though... :teeth:

I grew up on the Ocean in CT, and a lot of my budies growing up made a fortune scraping barnicals off of yachts on the weekends, but, I was a little more fast paced back in those days and never slowed down to appreciate what was under the water, I was too busy chasing pretty things on top of the water... lol... :cool1:

So far we have six people in this party requesting tours. So many new friends to meet.

Well, today I get to go with Lisa (and all of the gymnastic girls whose gyms have closed today for this event) to see the Movie "Stick It". It is suppossed to be a lot like the cheerleading movie "Bring it On". Lisa's new gym is even taking a bus to the theatre to watch it "en mass". I will just take Lisa to our theatre in town. Fran - Is Kelly's Gym going? I doubt there will be a whole lot in "the world of gymnastics" that these girls have done or seen. It should be fun. Sharon

I think you're ok (I HOPE so b/c we have to do the same thing---switching Palo nights) Supposedly they do hold some out for those who didn't, or couldn't, do it online.

Take advantage of all online booking things though (kids club, online check in, etc) In January I walked up to the kids club area in the terminal, got a pager, got wristbands, and was done. The *other* parents who had not done the online check in had to fill out the paperwork and THEN wait in another line where they heard all about the policies of the club yada yada. I figure I'll do it online and have more time to socialize.

btw, you DO need your children present to get wristbands. Nick was in the bathroom and they wouldn't let me have it to put it on him; THEY had to do it.
Yes, DH really loves the on-line thing. :surfweb: I think he has done everything possible so far. We are just kicking ourselves now because we should have just gone ahead and paid early to get to make the early ressies. Then our palo dinner and brunch and second dinner (the one we do when we realize we have blown the budget anyway) would be set and I would no be planning the ressie attack! :rotfl:

SOOOOO.... What night are you dropping??? :goodvibes Maybe I could just go as you and not have to line up at all. :thumbsup2

What do they think we are going to do... sneak someone else's kids into the clubs??? :rotfl2: No way... the only kid I am dropping off and picking up is mine... and then only when they call. OR.. for picture night. That is the one night I insist they eat with us and do the little princess thing. princess:

Yup. It was the Wonder. May of 2003. :) Actually, THANKFULLY, they got all new lifejackets the last time the Magic was in dry dock. The new ones are more flexible and don't push your head forward as much. (plus they are newer so they don't smell like 100,000,000 have worn them.....ok, by now maybe they do!) :lmao:

You know, not to sound strange, but, I flatly refuse to put the life vest on for the drill... I made the mistake of looking inside the neck, and saw the brown stained interior from the previous users' sweat... since then I just carry it... LOL... I have looked at each one since and it is always the same story... eww...

Please add me to the list too. Jim and Matt got the opportunity to see the Walt Suite on the 10-day, but I was too sick (I think I had too much sun in Antigua). I would really like to see it. Thanks for being open the idea.

Okay have to go get DD at school. Will check back later to catch up on everything.

When we get back from our cruise, we're considering dropping our 'land line' phone and going with only cell phones. Has anyone else done this? If so, have you had any problems giving up your 'land line'?

Sandy, if you go to a place like Best Buy or similar electronics store, they now have these really cool phones that you plug your cell into and then you use a cordless phone like you normally would, and it even boosts your cell reception so it is seamless integration.... I know a few people that have done this and are very happy... :thumbsup2

HEY, my first U-TOP!!

Ticket please! :cool1:

Not that I'll ever consider booking it, but it'd be nice to take a peek.

has anyone been keeping a kind of total of folks that are going to be at the Radisson before the cruise?

Is anyone else staying at the Airport Hyatt Friday night?

Debb if you are going to open up the suite please add us to the list. I went to a cocktail party in the Walt Suite on the Wonder but have never been in the Roy Suite. I do think having a set time would be best or your bell will be ringing all the time. :lmao: I'll be happy to add it to the navigator for you.

edited to add - are you sure you want to open up your "home" to this crazy group. Much as we would love it you shouldn't feel any pressure to do it and you should check with the rest of your family.

I *think* it's Monday night dinner. I have Palo Brunch on Monday (again, I *think*) and don't want two Palo meals on the same day. I'd *like* to get Palo on Tuesday night--formal night--so I only have to dress up once! :) I'd like to get it as a double dip (eat with the kids, then go to Palo)

I wouldn't mind "giving" you my reservation if I give it up, but of course MY stateroom would be charged, so we'd have to figure that out. Maybe if we went to the booking place together and I cancelled and you were right behind me to book. ???

You don't have kids, do you?
See, DCL tells you you MUST put the life jacket on. Even though I don't *want* to, it's the rule. So I do. Otherwise what would I be telling my kids if I didn't wear it or if I didn't make them wear it.

Hopefully you won't mind when you hear my kids say "Look, Mom, that man is breaking the rules by not putting on his life jacket!" :lmao: And whatever you do, don't ride your bike down our street without a helmet!!!
