BWVPam said:Amanda -- you might try eating at captain jacks at DTD. They are on the dining plan and I ate there twice on my last trip. The lobster was great and the clam chowder was some of the best I have had. They don't take adr's there.
Dancind said:The only request I would make at OKW is to not be near the main road. There are some in the back that can get a bit noisy. There are buildings we like, but I don't know if they even take those kind of requests anymore. I do usually ask for a quiet building.
Hmm, I might have to find that.ohiominnie said:Loved both of those as well. I'm listening to Suzanne's Diary from audible now. WOw....to HEAR it is amazing....the way the reader says "Nicholas...." in such a loving, adoring way just melts my heart.

BWVPam said:How can anyone not like seafood????I live in the desert and still like seafood.
Have you ever tried crab tacos w/avocado?? yummmmm
BWVPam said:We have never regretted it. We bought in when the price was still low at BWV (with rebate, cost was $58 per point), then we added on at Beach Club on the cruise in 2002 ($70 per point). since the kids are getting older, we are looking at selling our BCV and have been told we can get between 95-100 per point and it will probably sell within a few days. I don't really want to sell, but I have my son's college to think about and a car for him this summer. Decisions, Decisions

Dancind said:I think we would sell OKW before BCV. I love it over there, and the points are premium. If you need to rent points, everyone wants BCV. But yeah, I was thinking we should sell our extra 150 point OKW contract when Alicia needs a car. Problem is, I keep using the points!

ohiominnie said:We've never regretted it either. We bought in 2001. And then added on three times (actually, added on twice before the ink was even dry on the first contract!!!) Wished we had gotten in on it when it was $58 a point, but we weren't in the financial position to do so (and luckily didn't know DVC existed at that point!)
dzneprincess said:Thanks Diana! Where has Kevin Been keeping you?? I was just lookiong at your ebay store! Those red strappy shoes are so pretty! I am amazed that Alicia does not raid your supply b4 you can get it onto ebay
Dancind said:OM, that's us! Bought in 2001, added on BCV, added on BCV again right before it sold out. Then went on the cruise in 2002, decided we needed MORE points, and bought another OKW contract resale. That one is a different use year and confuses me, so it will probably be the first to go. I do love our DVC.
