Mark :scared1: , and I thought I came up with some pretty weird stuff............ :rolleyes1

Oh, I actually discovered him thru this pic that was passed around message boards.

Then I searched out the backstory. Had a pet rabbit myself when I was a kid. And he was just about as patient as this one.

Too funny. You gave us our Easter entertainment! Bunnies here don't have those little short ears. Ours have big, long ears.

Jay didn't want to eat in the middle of the day, so we'll be sitting down in about an hour. Nothing special....glazed ham, escalloped potatoes, green bean casserole. But dessert is a treat. It's from a Lithuanian bakery, a chocolate raspberry torte.

A T.O.P. with food...how fitting....

Jim & Ray,

Thanks for the prime rib recipes! Mine came out great. I did a combination of the two. I seasoned w/ salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder & Montreal steak seasoning then put Zatarrain's creole mustard on top of that. I used Jim's temp & cooking settings. It came out great! For sides we green beans, corn on the cob, garlic smashed potatoes cooked in Zatarrain's crab boil for a little kick then loaded w/ lots of butter (my copycat of Copeland's red hot potatoes).

Ang

Good for you trying something new!! Next time you order prime rib in a restaurant you can say to yourself "mine is better"! :lmao:

The fun part of cooking is trying something new. If it doesn't work, don't do it again. If it does, great. You have a new recipe.

Hope everyone is enjoying their Easter. Thanks for all of the well-wishes for Ashley. She was sick quite a few times during the night. This morning her tummy was doing better but had a fever. It finally broke a little while ago while she was having a LONG nap.

I need to catch up on all of the posts since last night.

Ang

:cool1: A UTOP shared with Ashley and all of the DIS family!!!

Glad to hear she is feeling better.

Great news everyone. I found the gift cards. Even though I had looked in this drawer last night, I looked again and found them.

We went to church and then out to lunch w/MIL. I came home and took a nap. After the nap I started looking again, and walaa, I found them. I thought for sure they were in a Disney bag, but they were slipped in with some papers in one of my drawers, along with the gift receipts. I am in such a better mood right now, knowing that I didn't lose $50.00.

That's great news now I wish that I could find mine but I think they are long gone!!!

And here I was going to offer you dinner.

Last night while making dinner Lisa and I made crab cakes for today from the left over crab. Today we cooked the crab cakes and had it with capre salad. After that no one wanted the NY strips. We put them in the refrig for tomorrow.

It ended up being a light cooking night. I need to keep that in mind for the future. Give them a couple of apps. and they might be done for the night.

Maybe Matt is starting to save room for the cruise. :lmao:

I don't know if that tops Little Lisa's sugar free vanilla pudding. :lmao:

She did not have the heavy cream to make creme brule so it is vanilla pudding. I'm sure it will be just fine with Banfi.

Actually, I did post it a few other places this am with the note:

'Here comes breakfast, delivered by the easter bunny'

I will be breaking out the Banfi for dessert. Decided that when I asked Jay to get my egg tray out of the cupboard and he tossed it on the floor. (accident). What a mess to clean up though...there was glass everywhere! Had to laugh, though. I told him "Heck, I could have done that!". Next time, I'll get the step stool and get it myself. After I buy a new one, that is.

We went to the baseball game, it was fun even though the Braves lost.
We then went to FROGS for an early dinner which is in midtown and we don't go that way often so it was either an early one or home for dinner.

The kids are having an early night they start the CRCT testing tomorrow.
