This was NOT a good week for us and the computer................

DD spilled orange soda on the keyboard last Friday night, and failed to tell anyone. When I tried to type last Sat. I got all kinds of "funky" things.....(tried to type a letter "I" , got an equal sign!)

Then, on Wednesday, the cable company cut our phone line and our computer line. They spent 2 days trying to locate or lines!!!!

Finally, we're up and running!


Hope everyone is well, I haven't had time to read the 600 pages that I missed!

Congratulations Emily! How exciting! Hey, Ang, there's a great book called Dear Tooth Fairy that you should get for her. It's all about what happens when the tooth fairy comes for your tooth. Really cute. My mom got it for Erin when she lost her first tooth last November, and she still talks about it to all her friends when they lose a tooth.

And congrats to you for being such a brave Mommy! I've lucked out so far. Erin actually swallowed her first one, and the second just fell out on its own. Whew!

We always had the 'mouse' who came to get the tooth out the slipper under the bed, my sister would not go to sleep as she didn't want the mouse in her room so Dad had to put it under his bed!!!!

GEEK QUESTION:

I need some help from our Geek friends. I'm looking for a lap top for Sharon and Lisa now that they go to Orlando everyday.

One of the big issues is battery life. Any suggestions on a lap top that will give 4-5 hours of battery usage? They won't be able to plug in while driving or at the gym so battery life is important.

Suggestions?

They could charge it in the car

Help! Is anyone going to WDW any time soon? Even one of the hotels...??

I need a postcard with Mickey, or the castle...or anything. My friend wants to "mail" it to her 4 yr old son, from "Mickey"....with Mickey telling him he's looking forward to their visit in May.

You wouldn't have to mail it to Jonathan, you could just mail it in an envelope to me....please...anyone?? I would, of course, pay for it.

Most laptops have an upgraded Battery option, both Karen I have Dell and we love them, batteries are pretty good and we have the standard type battery not the extended life ones....I have used Gateway, IBM, Toshiba....Stay away from Toshiba they are horrible, Gateway and IBM were both good

For different reasons, must check this out. We have a Delll - and I can get extended battery? Was thinking of using it for Mother to play DVDs if we lose power again this year..Then I can take it to work and recharge it...assuming that we get power there??????
