Why don't you get her a cute little purse and put the tickets/reservations/confirmations in there???

She's really workin' it now. "I don't need any presents. Pleeeeeeeese can I have a party. Pleeeeeeeese."

I don't mind having a party, if we could just have a bunch of kids out here. She wants something special. But she doesn't know exactly what. I'm supposed to figure that out.

A house-cleaning party would be special.

A car washing party would be special.

A weed-pulling party would be special.

See....my ideas are no good, so I guess we won't have a party. Hee hee.

I didn't quite escape the sunburn today. It was cooler (86°), and cloudy, so it was much more tempting to sit out in the open rather than stay in the ramada....oops.

It's on Beach St just N of ISB. It is good. Hope you enjoy cooking your own food because that is how it works. People who enjoy mixing their own vegs, meats, sauces, spices really enjoy it. Matt tried lots of new combos.

We love mongolian but never had to cook it ourselves, always chose it and then they cooked it, it is yummy but I don't think there are any places left here in GA.

Looks like everyone is busy off doing stuff today. We went to church and then to our favorite mexican food place for lunch. Brought the kids home and assigned them chores while Charley and I took off for Kohls and Sams. Had some stuff to take back, but I did get two pair of shoes and Charley got a new pair of swimming trunks and t-shirt. We are getting close to not having to buy anything else new for the cruise, except all the small stuff like sunscreen, batteries, dvd's for the camera, etc. All that stuff really starts adding up.

I also went to Kohl's today, didn't need anything but took DD so we left with a whole bag of stuff, she is a shopaholic!!!!!!!!

Those are all Mom special not kid special :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Couple more rodeo shots. I love taking the pics of the bulls, even though they had everything in this rodeo...barrel racing, calf roping, bareback and saddle bronc....

How about a chastity belt party at Jay's shop. Everyone can get one and all the parent's will crown you parents of the year. :thumbsup2

Oh ... big news ... the tooth fairy is visiting our house tonight. Emily finally lost her first tooth. It has been lose for probably 3 weeks now. I had to pull it today. Bruce had taken Ashley to a birthday party and Emily & I were getting ready to go out. I wiped her mouth with a towel & must have knocked it enough so that it was hanging by a thread. I never imagined that I would be the one that had to pull it! I was a little nervous but composed myself for her sake. She freaked over the blood a little but then became very excited about the tooth fairy visiting.

Congratulations Emily! How exciting! Hey, Ang, there's a great book called Dear Tooth Fairy that you should get for her. It's all about what happens when the tooth fairy comes for your tooth. Really cute. My mom got it for Erin when she lost her first tooth last November, and she still talks about it to all her friends when they lose a tooth.

And congrats to you for being such a brave Mommy! I've lucked out so far. Erin actually swallowed her first one, and the second just fell out on its own. Whew!

We thought you would put us over the top, but even you have been quiet.

GEEK QUESTION:

I need some help from our Geek friends. I'm looking for a lap top for Sharon and Lisa now that they go to Orlando everyday.

One of the big issues is battery life. Any suggestions on a lap top that will give 4-5 hours of battery usage? They won't be able to plug in while driving or at the gym so battery life is important.

Suggestions?

Well, I, for one, am glad it's been kind of slow. Not as much to catch up on. Haven't been around much this weekend. We were pretty busy. Wine tasting on Thursday night, wine drinking on Friday night, nursed hangover on Saturday, and ran around like crazy people today getting all the stuff done we hadn't been able to do yet. Also got Erin a new bike (and me too - what have I gotten myself into?!?!?!). Now we're just wrapping up the weekend, getting ready for the Sopranos and Big Love. Then we get to start all over again tomorrow. Joy...

Most laptops have an upgraded Battery option, both Karen I have Dell and we love them, batteries are pretty good and we have the standard type battery not the extended life ones....I have used Gateway, IBM, Toshiba....Stay away from Toshiba they are horrible, Gateway and IBM were both good

you should take the lap top out to pool side. Multi-tasking is the only way to go.
