Stacey, have fun at the rodeo :woohoo: (pretend he's saying "YeeHaw"!!!)

Angie, glad to hear all's well at your house. I know East Cobb got hit pretty bad. I'm wondering about my old neighborhood - looks like it was right in the path and there are many tall trees by the houses. I've been watching Channel 2 news and they're focusing on the area by the Big Chicken. The Chicken's OK, but some buildings by the KMart were destroyed. :sad2:

Susan lives in the Lassiter HS area. Please check in and let us know you're OK.

Stay safe everyone. :grouphug:

Good morning all -- finished with the early morning swim practice and back at home. Going to see how much stuff I can get in the new suitcase and rolling duffle, kinda a dry run you might say.

Welcome home Laura. Yes I did manage to get over to WDW for at least a little each day. Got to ride EE twice, once during single rider and then again using a fast pass. It was great!!

Have a lot to do today, so check in later.

Good morning all.

Congratulations to our milestone winners!!!

Weather here in NY is yucky to say the least. Rain, rain go away. Guess we need though after having the dries March on record in this area. As the saying goes, "April showers bring May flowers", and cruises.

Can't believe it's only 7 weeks away!!! I really, really gotta get packing. Way too excited. My DH just shakes his head. He doesn't appreciate all the work that goes into making sure we have everything we need to survive on vacation. :rotfl:

Well, I can't stay too long. DS has a BD party to get to and I have to go out in this weather. Not my idea of fun.

See ya later alligator.

Speaking of weather, in FL it is 87 Sunny with a light breeze.....so nice:) :sunny:

Kevin - I think you will like the Chronicles of Narnia. We went to see it as a family at the movies and all loved it. Circuit City had it for 13.99 on Tuesday, so we bought it. Charley and Ashley have already watched it, but I haven't had time yet. Maybe this weekend. They had a really cool exhibit at WDW at Christmas that we walked through with a lot of the movie set stuff.

I took the kids to see it in the theatre and enjoyed it!!

I guess the winds were really strong last night. We ventured out around lunch time to do some shopping & saw how much of mess it is out there. A huge tree fell on my dentist's office (an old house). I went to go down one street & it was blocked off. Our neighbor lost a tree & quite a few branches but they were bradford pears. Those are pretty weak trees though.

I just made reservations for Matt's 16 birthday party.

We are having it in Deland, FL. It will be a free falling party. :confused3

Cool!!!

Are you going to jump??? Just be sure to aim for the dropzone... do you have any idea how many people end up on the lawn in front of my office!

We had a guy hit the loading dock pretty hard last year. (Never the tandems though... the guides are always good- its the hot-doggers that dive all the time who end up making the long walk back across the street. )

Saw a short on the Today show --- a group of (seemingly intelligent folks) make a pact to buy nothing new for one year - exceptions yes, food, toilietries, underwear, but no shopping for clothes, dvd,s toys etc...

Couse they were allowed to shop at thrift stores.....

How would your daughter fit in with them?????

I know I wouldn't fit in with them!!!!! Nope... no way.

Stacey, you should know by now to always be prepared to DIS. You should have been on your Trio or what ever it's called this morning.

I ended up buying a new phone yesterday... looked at the Treo, as I had every intention of getting one, but talked into a different one... bigger screen, bigger keyboard that hides inside...

No DIS'ing from the parking lot while waiting to pick Elizabeth up at her FFEA (Florida Future Educators Assoc) conference today... when there's no wi-fi in the area, the dialup is horrendously slow. (Tried it, just to be like Stacey:rotfl: , but gave up before I got to 'View First Unread Post'.)

Speaking of Elizabeth's conference, her school's team took first place in their exhibit and in their scrapbook. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

About 41 since our last day of measurable rainfall, we need it...
