We waited for you Stacey.......... not very long!

You guys did it to me again! And I WOULD have been in on it, except Jared's game was tied and went into over time. I should have left, they ended up losing, anyway. Mean Mommy.

Congrats Kevin, on Post # 35,000 !! :cool1:

Congrats Pam, on Reply # 35,000 !! :cheer2:

Going to go read until the girls get home, they went to dinner with some friends. They went to a restaurant that's the furthest they've gone in a car with other teens so far. They're usually limited to Cave Creek. Doesn't thrill me, but I guess they have to branch out eventually. :worried:

I'm reading one of my "calming" books. The last one on the Mitford Series by Jan Karon. I don't know what I'll do when I finish this one. I might have to start all over at #1 again.

Congrats to Kevin on post #35,000

Congrats to Pam on reply #35,000

Thanks to Karen for helping set them up.:)

Mary you are up early - or did you stay up late?

Morning All....busy day here - lots to do, lots to do.....Must find Easter Bunnies from years past and arrange them on the couch. Yes, Sam and I still have our Easter baskets from when we were kids....I could never downsize....and my Dept 56 Easter collection....and....well, remember Christmas.....I am behind in my deocatng, thought of skipping this year, but I do enjoy the memories from the past Easters.

Must get house cleaned for Easter - that is a Spring ritual.....

Must get butt in gear and get to mothers to complete list of things that if they do not occur today, gravity will disappear from the planet.

Must go to work so life as we know it will not end (And I am not even an ER doctor) - HAH.

Must - feed the cats - goes without saying, and how is the little parrakeet doing? by the way...and was the earing from the cockatiel ever found....

Must go to neighbors for a grill out tonight and drink beer :teeth: We just learned she is expecting :cheer2:

Must drink coffee and see what you all were up to last night first.....

I went out and bought a new suitcase today for the cruise. It came with a free duffle bag. The truly exciting things in life:goodvibes

Wow, I am on a role -- 3rd top in a rowpirate:

resisting the urge to buy a lime green suitcase - don't need it, we have enough stuff, but I wanna it.....

now if it came with a free duffle bag, well, I need one of those. :teeth:

Stacey -- I agree with you. I think sending the Magic to the Med is crazy. It is great if you want to spend that money, but the average family just can't afford it.

I'm just catching up on posts and this might already have been beaten to death, but...

The average US family can't afford it. The average European family can.

US families are not the market this time. They are going after the European market and trying to create interest there.

All my daughter wants to do is shop!!! I am trying hard to keep her out the malls!! Have fun and the next milestone will still be here!!! :teeth:

Saw a short on the Today show --- a group of (seemingly intelligent folks) make a pact to buy nothing new for one year - exceptions yes, food, toilietries, underwear, but no shopping for clothes, dvd,s toys etc...

Couse they were allowed to shop at thrift stores.....

How would your daughter fit in with them?????

It looks like we got all the orders in for the shirts and bags. Everyone that had put in an early indication we have heard from, plus some new people. Unless there are any other new people that haven't got them in yet.

Anyway -- we have 105 shirts and 24 bags. It will take about 3 weeks to get the orders in and processed. I will let everyone know when they are about to ship out.

THANKS
:cheer2: :cheer2: :grouphug: :grouphug:

I would not, plus with the EUro being so strong it has to be pricey, I have travelled through Europe and you need more than port stops to see anything worthwhile - there is so much history etc etc.

Julie I agree - and with Mark too....for that type of money Sam and I could rent a car and do B&B or pensions for weeks...course I do not get weeks off, but stillll

Stacey, you should know by now to always be prepared to DIS. You should have been on your Trio or what ever it's called this morning.

Morning Jim-----no diving for us this weekend.....

You are right about the European families....My cousins are in England, they come over here and explain how inexpensive everything is, especially food......when we are at a rather good resturant where we think it is a tough pricey for every day vacation budget...ie WDW prices are cheap...ok, not compared to the normal American food budget....

Go for it!!! It'll be sooo much easier to claim your baggage at the airport! (Unless a boat load of Dis'ers buy them) Last time I flew, I swiped Maggie's hot pink suitcase to pack- I could spot that thing from a mile away...
