Alright, I can't keep my eyes open. I have to get some shut-eye. Catch all you guys (wherever you are) tomorrow.

Was it Sandi who didn't get to see Idol last night? I didn't either. Thought we were taping it while I watched Gilmore Girls but it didn't tape. I hear I didn't miss much and I'm hoping my boy Taylor doesn't go home tonight.

YEA!! So glad to hear someone else is supporting our "BAMA BOY"!! We have had other local guys to be on idol (BO and Reuben) but Taylor is my favorite!! I remember the finals, with Bo, was our day at CC last May....I could not vote! I still think that was my fault :rotfl2: Let me think...CC  or AI...NO CONTEST!!!

GO TAYLOR :woohoo: GO TAYLOR :woohoo:

I'm here...still alive. Things have just been really busy. I've been reading, just not posting.

Loved the puffin picture, Mark. I have one of a penguin that I took years and years ago, when Marineland was still open in California....it would make a nice postcard.

Anyway...most definitely need to go to bed, I just wanted to say "Hi" :wave2:

:flower1: Good morning cruisers! :flower1:

Happy Thursday!

Stacey - what are you still doing up?

I know we had this discussion on the 10 day thread and I think we talked about it here as well. We are now the proud owners of a new washer/dryer set. Went with the Whirlpool Duet. Since our current washer & dryer came with the house (and were already used then) 16 years ago it was about time. Should be delivered on Saturday!

hmm was the tourguide in The movie Dave or American President? (can't remember which one) :confused3

OMG! I :love::love:Dave! One of my all time favorite movies! (And yes, that's where the tourguide is from.)

"The key to faking out the parents is the clammy hands. It's a good non-specific symptom. I'm a big believer in it. A lot of people will tell you a good phoney fever is a deadlock, but you get a nervous mother, you could wind up in a doctor's office--that's worse than school. You fake a stomach cramp, and when you're bent over, moaning and wailing, you lick your palms. It's a little childish and stupid, but then so is high school."

Ferris Bueller. Another one that I love.

(Should have hung out here more last night! I'm on a roll!)

Ooh... You'll love the front-loaders! I've had mine for a couple of years now, and think they do a great job. Just whatever they tell you, you do NOT have to use a special detergent. Your regular one will work just fine. Just use about half of the amount you would with a top-loading machine.

Enjoy!!! (It's a sad day when I get this excited about a washing machine...)

All right, where have all of the blabbermouths gone? I ususally have 5 or 6 pages to catch up on in the morning. The thunder is rumbling outside this morning. The Directv guy is supposed to be here this morning to fix my satellite connection. My DVR is messed up, too. If I turn if off, I have to hit the reset button to turn it back on. I hope they don't have to replace it since I've got a few things recorded on it that I'd like to keep.

I also love my front loader washer/dryer. I can fit 9 or 10 pair of jeans in one load, which is great after the 'boys' have been outside playing during the week. Speaking of laundry, I need to head upstairs and put some in, climb on the treadmill and watch AI from last night. I missed Amazing Race last night, but read the re-cap online this morning.

We still haven't booked any excursions for COZ. I brought up the subject last night, and both DH and DS said they want to do something, but didn't say what. I wouldn't mind just going to Chankannaab on our own, but don't know what shape it will be in. DS wants to go kayaking, but DH and I don't. We'll probably end up doing the Jeep safari tour. Anyone else thinking about this one? Maybe that would be a good father/son bonding time while mom relaxes in the Rainforest...
