OK, I better get going and do some laundry before we don't have any undergarments to wear. Now that's a visual nobody should be subjected to...:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

:rotfl2:
My plan was to leave work early - never happened
second plan was to do some laundry so DH wouldn't have to do it this weekend - just put in the first load

Hey -- does anyone know if the Fantasmic Dinner Package works with the Dining Plan??

And a completely Unexpected TOPpirate:

woo hoo! That sounds like fun.
I remember disecting a frog in high school but we pithed them first (scrambled their brains) When we opened them their hearts still were beating. And did for a couple of weeks (with proper care)

And then we disected a cat (honors biology).....

And I have just the PERFECT cat for that science lesson....

here kitty kitty kitty....come here, Mowana! :)

ha! Gave up on my physical therapy dream after a 1 semester of h.s. biology. My lab partner and I used an entire bottle of Love's Baby Soft just to disect a worm, fish, and frog... I bet that was the last semester our biology teacher ever recommended to the girls to bring in perfume to mask the smell...

Since Disney is all about money (after the magic, pixie dust, and happiness thing) I'd be willing to bet not.
We did Fantasmic at WDW with the dinner package, which worked out great...front row seats (which was HOT when the water was on fire) but we didn't have the Dining Plan...so I'm not 100% certain.

For some reason your way of seeing things made me laugh!!!

When your nickname is "Grace" (as in graceful...NOT) you have no choice but to learn to laugh at yourself.
It WAS funny to look up and see people trying to not get whisked away by the conveyor belt...before the CM gathered her senses and shut it off. I felt like one of the chocolate candies in the famous "Lucy" episode.........

:confused3

why do some people have all the luck - talked to a friend I hadn't talked to in awhile - she took her kids for their 1st trip to Disney (hers and theirs) last week over spring break...Didn't plan a thing (chalk it up to newbie - not knowing...walked over for lunch at Crystal Palace - not knowing it was a character restaurant. Asked how long the table was for a wait - CM looked astonished and said - we're absolutely full friend flippantly said "1st time here, so I guess we're screwed- laughing as she said it" - after manager behind CM stopped laughing - told my friend she liked her style and escorted her to a table.

Fast forward to that evening - she pulls out the guidebook, discovers, yes, reservations are highly recommended - decides to call for Cinderella's castle - tells the CM on the phone can we make a reservation - CM says sure - what are the dates of your visit - today and tomorrow - CM finishes laughing, says people make reservations months in advance but, she was in luck someone just cancelled...

But, :rotfl2: She in all seriousness said to me - "Can you believe people are that obsessed to actually call for reservations that far in advance...That's just unbelieveable"

After I picked myself off the floor for laughing hysterically - I filled her in on our reservation adventures at 3:00am... :rotfl2:

OK... an actual DIS question... (see, I haven't JUST been pot-stirring today)...

In all the time we've spent, we've never seen Fantasmic... is it worth making tomorrow a really long day to see it, or should we just head back toward home once the kids are tired (or the adults are tired... whichever comes first). We are going to hit AK in the AM, and probably MGM later in the day... anybody??

I really, really, really like Fantasmic - Have only seen it twice because of all the other things I really like to do.

MGM is not otherwise our favourtie park, but if I were there in the pm, I would stay. And we have used the Fantasmic package.

Stacey - I'm sorry, but I thought I posted this before.

Glad to have you back on the boards. Sorry to hear about your mishap at that "other" place, but happy you're feeling better. I'm finding that the older we get, not saying we're old, but it takes a little longer than I remember to start feeling better after something like that. Take care of yourself and ice it.

Saw the opposum. Did you know that they are marsupials? I don't care for the little buggers. We have them here and they LOVE our garbages. Until hubby bought a garbage garage that is. They are a scarey little creature though. No thanks.

Mamma opossum left a baby which we tried to raise. We had it for a short time, it was so cute, called it "Sock" 'cause it slept in one of my socks. It followed me around - yes, kept it in a shoe box in my office. Feed it with an eye-dropper.....it died.....guess Mamma knew something I did not. :sad2:
