Kevin can help better than I with tech stuff, but try this for now....Using your photo program, you should be able to change the properties from inches to pixels and then insert 100 on one line (the other should automatically convert). Admittedly, it may reduce it too small to use.

Tried to leave work - Bell South Emergency Diaster Repair had to work on the phone line in the back - they are most welcome to get this done before the next season, but I did not wish to leave the fence unlocked.

Got to work --- no power - no phones - no air....... no 'puters.

Back on in time to leave for lunch.

wait a sec...wait a sec....maybe I CAN do it and just underestimate myself. Hmmmm...
off to try something....

It's snowing here again, today :confused3 . Why did it wait until spring to start snowing? Well, there's really not a really great time for it to snow...

oh i'm so close.

i found a picture and i was able to cut it down to 100x100 pixels....

and i attempted to post it as my avatar, but it's telling me it's too many bytes...max is only 4000....

gotta figure out how to take a few bites out. :lmao:

woah....lack of punctuation there....

did you mean that "here is your monkey named Kevin"

or did you mean "hey, kevin, here's my monkey"

????????? :confused3:rotfl2:

Speaking of comma fairies....

i was telling the kids about the tag fairies...
and they were looking at me like i had sprouted another head. FINALLY they understood and thought it was really cool.

so....i think....if anyone happens to KNOW a tag fairy, or how to get ahold of one, it would be cute if they wandered over to the teen/tween thread to spice things up around there! :) :lmao:

Ok, I think I need to admit defeat. Something here is burning. I don't know if it's my CPU or my brain.

I got my 100x100 pictures, but it's WAY too big. DIS says it can only be 4000 bytes, but mine are in the mid 20,000-mid 30,000 range and the only way I can get the smaller is by making the microscopic (about the size of the dot on this i) or by making them so grainy you can't even tell what they are pictures of.

:confused3 :confused3

Sorry, Tracker, really wanted to help. :(

Well, we're at the airport, ready to head home. I am exhausted. I always forget that Disney trips are not restful.
Every inch of my body hurts. It feels like I was tossed onto a conveyor belt and rolled backward a few feet. Oh wait.....I WAS!!! The knee that got bashed seems to just be sore. I'll just take Ohminnie's prescript....no cooking, no cleaning.......after I sleep for 3 days.
See you later.
BTW....my kids wanted to know why I was singing the song "Way Down Yonder on the Chattahootchie".........I'm very glad that episode had a happy ending!

Glad to hear the knee is feeling better and what a great reason to not have to do all that vacation laundry!!

Stacey, watch out for those nasty conveyor belts. At least you're mostly sore, but nothing is broken. That could put a crimp in your cruising style!

Wow! They must have some good fire alarms on that ship if they got everybody out of harm's way. Looks nasty. Sad to hear about the bus accident too.

Yes both are re3ally sad and what a good reason to pay attention during drill time!!!

Good Afternoon,

Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday dear Mary
Happy Birthday to you :bday:

Stacey, your pic of the possum turned out well. I can see his little eyes looking up. He has a great home - living in Disneyland.

Hope it is a good day for all.

Liz

Uh-oh... is it too late to change our tablemates :stir: ...
GO SOX!!!

(My mom is a Yankee fan too... I give her grief about it all the time!)

NO!!! Don't change the table!! We're going to see our first Yankee-Red Sox game at Yankee Stadium on May 10th. I think Augie has been to one, but the rest of us have not. AJ is very, very excited. Me too. Nah, don't worry about it. Should make for interesting conversation :confused3 . Hey, Johnny Damon cleaned up very nicely. Ortiz is the ONLY one that I can't handle. He's a Yankee killer.

How did your mother become a Yankee fan living in NH???? Must've been an implant from NY? Splain please!!!

Thank you for your help. I'll try that.
BTW, my mom is armyfam.

ACTUALLY... my mother is from MASSACHUSETTS... about 30 minutes south of Boston... but she has lived in CT all of her adult life, and, unfortunately, was easily swayed during her formative post-teen years...

We used to go to Yankee Stadium every year to see the Sox play the Yanks... it's only about 90 minutes from where I grew up.

That's the same thing that happened to me! I haven't figured the bytes out yet....

OK, OK, I think I jumped onto this thread AFTER the tag fairies were identified. Can someone help me?

WOW, couldn't have said it better myself!!!! SO true!!!! In fact, I had to switch from late dining back to early b/c there were too many Michigan fans on late dining!!! :lmao: :lmao:

Did I tell you the worst part about that little trip?? As I'm rolling backward on the Doom Buggy conveyor belt, Jared tried to help me up...got me about halfway off the floor, and dropped me! :rotfl2: I honestly didn't no whether to laugh or cry at that point. But I chose crying. It helped keep the gathering crowd from laughing at me.

For some reason your way of seeing things made me laugh!!!

That's right, I think you mentioned that before. My mom was from CT also. Stamford. I remember posting that before. I actually still have family in Stamford and surrounding CT. I've never been to Bean Town. Friends of mine went to Western New England college but I never got up there when they were venturing to Boston. Oh well...one day.

Glad you're not changing the table. See ya in 9 weeks. OMG!!!! Tomorrow will be single digits in weeks. Oh yeah :dancer:

Well, the tag fairies are.....well, fairies....that go around and give people their....well, their tags. :)

Clear as mud?

The tags are those things under your name...

<-------------- over there....

some people put their own in....but sometimes if you say something really profound or funny....or incriminating, the tag fairy will pull it out of your post, color it, and pop it under your name.

Got it?

Tag fairies usually do'nt come to cruise meet boards. They are pretty busy on the community board where more people are flapping their gums and saying incriminating things. But I have a sneaking suspicion that someone on this thread might at least have some way to summon the tag fairies and alert them to the need for tag changes. :)
