Virgil taught me this trick....

When you go to post, RIGHT click on quote....
then choose "open link in a new window"

It will...
you post.

When it posts, close that window, and your ORIGINAL window will still be there!!!

VOILA!

In fact, if the boards are slow, I don't even wait for my post to post...I just click back on the original window and keep reading. Then when I accumulate 6 open windows, I go back and close them (making sure they all went through and didn't give me an error 40 second thing)

HTH!

Well - thanks OM and Virgil.... pirate:

Good morning cruisers!

We are flying in on Wednesday night (just booked the tickets, woo hoo!), so now we have to finalize our car plans. What have you guys done in the past?

pixiedust: An accidental TOP with Maria and a valid cruise question!pixiedust:

Two cruise questions and not sure I can help because we always drive. Folks from our November thread called the hotels to book a time certain to be dropped off at the Port. It seems those who were on the first drop off shuttle were fine....Do the rental cars have specific times as well. I'd ask to see.

OK now that I've stopped laughing over Jim's comment about a salt water facial. Depth of the water depends on the day. when we were there it was about mid-chest high. We were on the DCL excursion and the captain of our boat would hold a stingray up for pictures and so you could pet them so you don't have to put your face in the water if you don't want to.

Anyone is welcome to joing the Stingrays are cute club and are free to put the logo in your signature. That's what Mark made it.

Posting help - I can't find out how to place two photos side by side???????

Only if you want to see them........

You could always rub squid juice all over your legs and see what happens!! :lmao:

Another posting tip not found on many boards.

See what happens when the cat jumps on the keyboard....then the post windows really dance. :lmao:

Maybe she was after the squid.... :rotfl2:

Irene when you go into your signature just make sure the curser is right next to your first picture when you place the second. When I did it last night my 3rd (the stingray) didn't look like it was on the same line as the others in the preview box but it was. Hope that helps.

Oh my, if you don't want to be the butt of jokes, you may want to find another thread. I think we have ALL, at one point or another, been the butt of jokes. And, they don't go away, they keep coming back to haunt you over and over....
Cupcake
Carafe at dinner
Pot sitting
Taking beer to elementary schools
Meeting strange men in Vegas
Ignoring sick patients in the ER in order to DIS
etc etc...

BUT, on the other hand, jokes or not,....we've ALL been here to support each other when that time was needed by one of the group...
I won't list them by event, but there have been many many many....

Karen - very very true! I agree with your comment last night about family as well. When I think of all the laughs and tears we've had over the years. Definately a big part of our lives. Thinking back to the 10 day we did things we most likely would never have done if it wasn't for this group.

Like watching the children's choir sing Christmas carols. Normally we would have skipped it but since we knew some of the kids we really enjoyed it.

The wine party. We don't drink but what a great time to get together with friends.

Then there are the things we would have done anyway but made better by having DIS friends around. Like the pirate cruise in St. Lucia. I would have been lost without you and Mike there for me.

Looking to make many new memories on this cruise!

Yeah - a morning top with Karen and all our wonderful cruise memories!

Boy you all were a chatty group last night and I am not sure I caught up on all the posts from when I left work.....

Do we have gym stars in our future? did not hear if the spots were taken. Hope one was yours Maria.

And what happened to the jeep? Poor jeep, is it being abandoned.

Yes, I will be glad to bring back books as well as bring them.

Who had Champagne last night? We opted for (ready for this) Sake - well, we had Sushi....V-Day is not a day we go out for dinner.

Excursions - Yes, it was the Mayan Experience, although that name does not sound quite right.

Diving in GC - yippee - I am ready....(Must read Nitrox book....class is Friday night and I am out of town today.....I am understandably behind) Now I must read camera book as well....

I am afraid listening to all the posts about Stingray City that some of you may be disappointed abou the Stingrays in CC.

Todo before cruise each night....Fill the sink with water. Stick head in sink - blow bubbles - open eyes - blink.....oh yes, and hold your breath. After two months of this a mask will be no big deal...

Speaking of CC - I wonder if the POC ship will be docked there when we arrive.

Did I miss the final instructions on the shirts, I will check Mary's site to see if they are posted there.

Breakfast for me - coffee - no toast and Jam. :teeth:

Saw some Olympics last night - but did not see the results....men's figure skating, speed skating and combined.

Have a Good Day all!!!!

Irene - I can't speak for anyone else but I'm not expecting the stingray experience at CC to be anything like Stingray City in Grand Cayman. Yet we still love stingrays so will do it anyway - even if we do get to go to Grand Cayman. We just love them. So graceful and fun.

I highly recommned Dolphins in Depth at Epcot for anyone who really wants to know more about the Dolphins. Great behind the scenes information and of course some personal interaction as well. Discovery Cove is something that is on our wish list for the future.

Noted and don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed the CC stingrays...esp. trying to keep up with them as they swam....Guess what, even in a penned area, they still won......

Another trip to Epcot for DiD....oh woe is me  Thanks for the recmmendation....

I looked at these. The back is not big enough for dive gear with 4 people. The back cargo area is narrow because of the wheelwells. Not a good design.

And a TOP to start the day!!! :cool1:
Didn't think about that! Haven't actually seen one of those. I love my Tundra. How about one of those and a camper shell. Lots of room for dive gear, four doors!!

Good Morning All...

I am spoiled.

The most unexpected Valentine's gift - A complete Nikonos system because I love film.......It is in perfect condition, someone's baby that Sam found.

Now I need to learn to use a completely manual system.....

The lenses are magnificant...

PS - Flowers too! :cloud9:
What a nice hubby!! Does this mean you will dive more???

You quoted me... yet obviously missed the laughing hysterically emoticon there in my post after posting there. It looks like this: :lmao: Go back and look for it. LOL I don't see why that turned into a lecture... I was um... joking. You know... joking back? haha... laugh? like this > :lmao:

Hmmm.....Now that I look back, yes, you did include the :lmao: emoticon....

BUT....now that I look at it closer it DOES look an awful lot like a toddler having a temper tantrum.....dead cockroach style, eh?

Written word, without facial expressions and tone can be misinterpreted easily. Forgive me for assuming that you were upset. :) :lmao:
