We finished up Monday's 24 last night. Can't believe they are making me wait until next week to see another episode!!

I just finished it up too! I'm not sure I like watching it "live" I think I like watching it on DVD - don't have to wait so long...

Just for fun went over to the DCL site to price out our cruise. Cat 7's (which we are in) are still available. If the two of us were to book today it would be $1600 more than when we booked it onboard back in Dec. 2004.

Mary, funny you should post that. I did the same thing yesterday for us. We're in a CAT 6 and if we were to book now, there's only 2 staterooms at that level left, it would be about $3000 :scared1: more than what we paid in January 2005!!! Amazing.

Second, I have just finished a full evening of scanning in the entire DCL booklet they sent, all 50-60 pages. I'll put it together into something a lot more presentable tomorrow and should have something up tomorrow night. :)

:worship: :worship: I can't believe you'd do that for us poor unfortunate souls that have to resort to acting like two year olds because we haven't received our booklets yet... :worship: :worship: :love2:

We're going to pay off our balance next week so, we'll talk to our TA.

Until then, let's see acting like a 2 year old - I'm up to crying, whining, stomping my feet, doing the dead cockroach, holding my breath until my face turns blue, and sticking my lower lip out looking absolutely pitiful...

No Cat 11's broom closets left and a cat 10 is well over double what we paid for our cat 11 last February.

I love you guys! All this talk about checking DCL.com and comparing prices got me thinking....

So I checked. I SAVED $3386 by booking this cruise early!!!! WOW!

PLUS....I noticed that our FAVORITE stateroom is open again. It wasn't when we booked so we "settled" for one near it....

But it's open now.

Called DCL, but it wasn't showing up b/c I was "holding" it by being in DCL's site, so I have to wait 10 minutes and call them back! :)

What is your favorite stateroom? Just curious..

OK - Interesting that a Cat 5 is less than a Cat 6......

Also interesting that our Cat 3 is cheaper than either a 5 or 6..... Glad we booked early too...... The prices are for 3 adults and 1 tween....

and probably include insurance and tranfers.....that's the default.

Wow, our cat 6 cabin is double too! Another argument for not cancelling this cruise, eh? Think of all the money we're saving! (not even thinking about cancelling)

Irene, where did you go?

WOOOOOO-HOOOOOO!!!

Got it! Stateroom 6060. It's our favorite b/c it's the one we FIRST cruised it. Kinda like "home." (although it was 6060 on the Wonder, not the Magic)

An added bonus is that we are now a couple of extra staterooms away from Sir Scuba so I won't have to take his abuse....as much!

A TOP shared with Maria, my favorite stateroom and Sir Scuba :)

Mary, could you change me from 6056 to 6060 on the Double Scoop webpage please? THX!

And Maria....we are now nearly DIRECTLY across the hall from one another! :)

And I'm right NEXT to Disneydizz (Jodi) :)

My cruise is now $3,500 more than what I paid. I only paid $3,200 to begin with. Right about now I sure wish we had gone ahead and purchased the room with the verandah instead of our inside cat. 10. However, that other money will pay for our excursions.

Mary/Mark -- I like the cone they way you did it without the island names. That looks pretty cool

Wow...took me a while to catch up, just since last night. I had written a long post last night, and after I clicked "Submit" I found that they had closed the Boards. Bummer.

I must be the only one who liked the bags WITH the names of the islands.....:confused3
As far as the lettering....black or gold...doesn't matter.
I like the islands on there, because it will always remind us of where we went.
But I want to hear another opinion on why you like it the other way....maybe I'm not seeing or thinking something. Honest.

I love the idea that we are SAVING money by going on this cruise. That's MY KIND OF THINKING! Same as when I get something on sale......"But Jay, look at how much money I saved!". LOL

My orignal point (although I meant it sarcastically, but Mary liked it so I'm sticking with it) was that if we DON'T go to Cozumel we'll forever have "Cozumel" on the bag. I REALLY want to go there, but I'm not holding my breath. I know DCL will do whatever is best for us and the reputation of DCL. :)

So my original idea was just meant to be a "what if" we don't go to Cozumel kinda thing (hence I said take a Sharpie and fill in the islands when we actually dock there!)

I *do* like the island names on there b/c you can see CC twice....whereas the new design, unless you know what "double dip" means, ppl will have no idea we went there twice. Then again, those are ppl who aren't in our group so WHO CARES WHAT THEY THINK!?!?!?!?

Is that closer to our stateroom?

Guess I missed the white type. Sorry to hear you are moving from us. We will all be so disappointed. :rotfl:

I forgot - must e-mail the TA - she said it was being sent out Monday (ok, I know there was no mail delivery), so it should be here by now.....I will stamp feet :paw: :paw: :paw: one more day and send e-mail reminder Monday - or maybe today.....
