These are cute.....Scoopie and Hedgie will put together a trip report from Food and Wine (sometime in the future....) Yes, there are even more pictures to post....it should be fun....might do this as a hurricane distractor. Am I worried - um, yes, a little bit......we will see what tomorrow brings...

Still at the office...waiting for the creek to go down. We had an unbelievable downpour this noon!
At least we're all together, even the now-buzzed dog! Going to try to cross now...quickly before it gets darker. Wish us luck!

i got a LOT of cross stitching done! this new project isn't very big (or complicated) so it should go fast! especially with the amount of time I'm sitting there!

We're HOME! What a long day that was. I could do my own karaoke now...

Alas, I fear that I am now all alone in this world....

Irene....loved the hats on Hedgie and Scoopie! Too cute!!

Our poor little doggie....they couldn't get all the knots out, so they shaved him darn near bald! We almost didn't recognize him....and he has this awful look of humiliation on his little face!

I had a lot of fun taking those pictures last night.....my slippers were soaked. It was close, and it was a fast-moving storm, so I had to move with it. It went from the front of the house to the back in less than ten minutes.
This afternoon, we had over an inch and a half of rain in an hour.

Jordan called me from school during the downpour.....she said "It's really raining hard!" (she's learning great observation skills) and I asked her why I could hear girls screaming....she said they were outside. I told her to go inside, and she said "We can't....they're doing a FIRE DRILL".
Now, I ask you......what are these people thinking????

Was double-checking my "Cruise Personalizer" on Princess last night. I discovered that I could request bathrobes for the room, the type of sodas I want in the fridge, and the kind of liquor we might want...all in advance! Wow. I have to say, that may be the only thing that I've seen so far that they do better than DCL. I was pretty impressed. But I'm easily impressed.
