Sorry that I've missed a couple of good mornings, been so busy the last couple of days You would think today would be quieter since it is a sea day but I don't know. Jim Lewis is giving a talk this morning that we want to see. Linda's scrapbooking class this at noon. We have a Member Update to go to. Art Linkletter is giving a talk later this afternoon. Busy, busy, busy, but all wonderful.

I'm up early because I wanted to do a load of laundry and any of you that hve tried that know how hard it is to do mid-day. So I just dropped it off and now I have 40 minutes to play on the computer!

Let me tell you I am so glad we drove! We've been given so many gifts by both DCL and friends that I don't know how we would get them all home by plane.

Jim I did pass on your message to Karen yesterday. She said that she had turned off her cell phone because she is on vacation. I'm sure they will be back in contact when we get back.

Hi Sue - I actually ended up sharing it late last night. Mark and I were invited to have dinner in the private room at Palo with Jim Lews (Sr. VP and Gereral Manger of DVC) and also Christopher who is one of the 2005 WDW Ambassadors. It was a very special evening. I didn't know what to expect before going so didn't want to speculate. The invitation just said dinner hosted by them. I didn't realize until we got there that it was in the private room and was dinner for just 14 total.

That is what the kids want....snow. Sharon will be happy with a fireplace and a book. Might look into the Asheville, NC area and try to tie in the Biltmore Estate. Been there once and Christmas should be special!

We were talking about Biltmore yesterday. Told DH that I'd like to visit some day. He "jokingly" told me that I'd better find someone to go with me!

We're slowy getting dribbles of good news although those are still overshadowed by all of the tragedy. MIL's house has tree damage to it but no flood damage. We're not sure of the extent of damage though. BIL's wife's sister made her way back to Slidell yesterday and found their house to be the only dry one on the street. Their chimney was damage but no other major damage.

To those of you who have been praying for Matt... he lost his battle at 4AM this morning. Thank you to all of you who were keeping him in your prayers- please keep his wife Becci, his son William and newborn daughter Erin in your prayers... they need it now more than ever. Tomorrow is William's 3rd birthday.

Silly DH - we have both been there and love the house and gardens. Did not stay on premises...we camped,,,,but the day-trip was super....and good food as well.
