Hey Sue...what are you doing from Oct 28 to Nov 6th?

These two feed themselves, take themselves to the bathroom, don't bite and are not yippy. The catch? They have to be driven to school and cheerleading and dance. No...they aren't dogs.
I just thought since you've had such good practice......:duck: :duck: puckerup:

Hey, Sue....

I can try to get Maggie back from her new owners if you want to pet-sit her for awhile. That will make Sparky and Sparky's mom look like angels!!!

Poor thing....I feel for ya. I do like KikiKaren's answer though. I'll have to try to remember to use that :)

When presented with a question like that, I find the best answer to be "uh, why do you ask"?

We have to hire a babysitter for our cat when we go anywhere, I should talk. But at least we pay them! He's a demanding little scamp too.

So, bizarre movie of the week. Just watched Edward Scissorhands from Netflix. Classic Tim Burton, will be fun to go see Corpse Bride and pick out any salutes he included. Johnny Depp is in both moves.

That one was ok, the one I walked out on last was truly BIZARRE!!! Some kind of hitch hiking in the universe......... :scared1: :crazy2:

Hi everyone. We have had another busy week here. We had a Thursday night high school football game. Last night both kids were gone doing something, and Charley and I were going to go out to dinner, but we just stayed home and watched tv, just too tired. Had a small swim meet this morning and then came home and slept.

Went out to the mall for a while this evening so Ashley could spend her birthday money. Oh well, should have a quiet rest of the weekend.

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy?

First of all the humor is decidedly heavy British, almost must be a Python fan to enjoy the books, and this new movie is badly butchered. To make an example, the BBC made a miniseries many years ago and it was like 8 hours and even that didn't cover it properly.

Stacey's still trying to get rid of her kids! No takers? I've met them, they're nice.

Wasn't Monica heading pretty far north? She might be in a place that's getting a lot of rain, maybe has a power outage. I think the only place under water is Lake Charles, which is right next to Sulphur. Haven't heard how Sulphur fared.

Long day here. Started with a meeting for the cheerleading competition...only varsity gets to go to WDW....but JV is going to Anaheim...closer for me to fly and I get to finally celebrate Disneyland's 50th! Yea!!

Had a 50th B-Day party to attend tonight, lots of good food, friends we hadn't seen in a long time. Very nice.

Guess I'll be tackling the laundry pile tomorrow.....joy.... nobody wants to try the "Four Way Trick"....go figure.

DH is irritated with oldest DD...so what else is new?.....so he doesn't want her to watch the kids while we cruise.......
I think it only fair that if they have boarding for dogs, they should have it for kids, too.

I was looking around on eBay and just looked at the clock! :earseek: If it were a workday, Jim would be up!!
Guess I better go to bed.
First one up, start the coffee!!

Good Night/Morning!!

Good Night/Morning!!

Sorry I missed you. I've been up for a while, but didn't sign in right away.

I'm getting ready to go divingat Forty Fathams. Pretty neat place, but a real different dive. When they ave to turn on pumps to remove the pond scum so you can get it, you know it is going to be a different dive.

Have a good day!

:flower: Good morning cruisers! :flower:

Happy Sunday!

Had a great day yesterday. Met up with some school friends for our annual lunch and showcase house tour. Nice house - 3 kitchens! Jim would love the basement - a full catering kitchen right next to a huge wine cellar!

Good Morning All - Thank you all for the good advise and 'offers'. I know now to say no to chickens and DRAMA QUEENS.

WOW! That sounds interesting.

The real question is: Did you see any carafes???

No carafes - but lots and lots of bottles of wine. We weren't allowed in the wine cellar so couldn't tell the brands of any of them. :)

Hi everyone, has Monica checked in? I am concerned about her.

Monica went to Natchitoches, LA. It's about mid-way up in LA pretty much at the TX/LA border. I bet they felt some of Rita there but hopefully not too bad. She may very well be without power.
