Strawberry Shortcake, Care Bears and Chuck E Cheese.....enjoy it while it lasts, Angie! I kind of miss those days.
Jared was always the one with the Chuck E Cheese party, because his birthday was always when we were at Grandma's in Omaha.....and she never wanted a party at her house.
Jordan had a couple of those tea parties, where a lady comes with costumes, hats and all....those were fun!!
Now she's trying to get me to plan a Sweet Sixteen! She tells me we only have EIGHT MONTHS left to plan!! I'm afraid to ask what she has in mind.........

A bomb went off in my house. Jay is in the attic installing new (what's the stuff called, Kevin? Round, silver, venting....??) good grief my brain is gone!
Anyway....the only access to the attic is through the ceiling of my storage room. I keep important things in there. Things that I have no other place for go in there. Things that I don't want to deal with for the next 20 or so years.
Things that I bought because they were on sale. Things I will never use. Things that I already had 5 of, but forgot where they were......
Jay never goes in this room. Until this morning. It is now empty. All of my THINGS are spread all over my bedroom. I think that's a hint.

Sorry I missed you. I've been up for a while, but didn't sign in right away.

I'm getting ready to go divingat Forty Fathams. Pretty neat place, but a real different dive. When they ave to turn on pumps to remove the pond scum so you can get it, you know it is going to be a different dive.

We made trek out to Blue Hole today and worked on fundies skills. Anyday wet is a good day!!

Need info on the Nintendo DS. Kids have their eyes on them and they'd make good Christmas presents. They really want them so they can get the Nintendogs games.

Maybe not in the Chicago bay, but the Great Lakes have some VERY interesting wrecks. One day........ it's on the list!

Ohminnie....I'll ask the kids what they think of these, they're usually pretty "up" on that stuff. I'll let you know.
Is Nintendogs like those virtual pet things? The kids had a computer game where they adopted a baby and had to care for it. They only liked adopting and naming them, after that, they didn't want to take care of them........

OK .......I had to tear myself away from Amanda's youngest son Nathan. He loves me!!! It is good to be loved!! I will forgive them for leaving me behind while they wen on the cruise. I understand from 2 year old Nathan, that they did the same thing to him! ;-p Nathan saw my picture on the website that Monica made for me, and he was so very excited! He keeps kissing me and making Amanda kiss me....haha
Irene, I do not want to miss our food and wine rondevous..so please PM Amanda with your address.....Is it okay if I bring Nathan with me to your house? We have become attached...

Scoopie - Glad to hear from you - Hedgie cannot wait to see you again......We are ready for food and wine and then some!!!! Don't worry little cone, we will make sure you do not melt.

I'm not sure that Nathan will enjoy visiting us....you see, you and Hedgie will be stuffed in a backback...I don't think Natan will fit, so you will need to say goodbye.....for a while...

Good Monday morning, everyone. Monica, glad to hear that you and your family are safe and sound. Hope you have a safe and uneventful return home. We had a great weekend in St. Louis, and we had Scoopie's 'double' with us! DS took a friend along, and he had Scoopie. It wasn't 'our' Scoopie, but we had a little bit of fun with him. KikiKaren, we didn't get to Grant's Farm to say hi to the Clydesdales. The weather was rather rainy. We went to the Science Center on Saturday, then 'let' the boys spend almost 4 hours in the hotel swimming pool after walking around Union Station.

Needless to say, we had a very quiet evening. No trouble at all getting the boys to go to sleep. We even 'let' them swim for 2 1/2 hours Sunday morning, also. Larry and I relaxed in the hot tub/pool and watched the raindrops roll off of the ouside of the pool dome. We went to the afternoon showing of 'Joseph and the Amazing....' which was truly awsome. Amy Adams was the narrator. I vaguely remember her from American Idol. She sang the part perfectly. Patrick Cassidy was superb in the lead. Just before intermission, DH asked me if I'd noticed Patrick's rock-hard six-pack abs. I broke the news to him that, yes, I'd noticed that when he first came out 'topless'.
