Bermuda is my FAVORITE place on earth... it was the first cruise that my parents took me on, and I've been hooked ever since. Oh how I wish DCL would cruise there... when we lived in NH, we would cruise Boston to Bermuda every year- it was great- 4 full days in 1 port- gave us lots of R & R time without feeling like we had to cram a lot into a few hours at a different port every day.

My sister is going back in Oct- she hasn't been there since we were kids, and my BIL has never been there- wish we could join them!!!

Hey guys. Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Well, we decided at the last minute to throw an impromptu garage sale this morning. Considering we didn't plan or anything, we did okay. Made about $360, plus I have a bunch of stuff that someone at works wants to buy. My goal is $400, so I can take that amount and pay on our cruise on Monday. Now we are off to the year-end swim banquet.

Sounds familiar. Lisa is at Metro this morning. That is her day event.

Gymnastics rules, at least at our house and yours!

It's another hot one here in Tampa. For those of you on the east coast......do you ever get "red tide" over there? It has been a problem over here all summer long. We've not been able to take out the jet-ski since before Memorial day! The sad thing is that hotels have not told tourist about it, and they are getting a big surprise once they arrive for vacation! :guilty:

Happy Sat. to all!

We have not had your red tide this year. I have been watching the scuba reports because I want to shark tooth dive at Venice Beach and they have been complaining of the red tide.

I have a few minutes to relax so here I am. Laundry is almost finished. When I left last week the landscaper and the house contractor told me the work would be finished when I got home. Weeelllllll guess what!!! I don't have a front step or stoop or porch, just a 3 foot drop out my front door. The kitchen porch and steps are wooden and Jesse (older dog) has trouble going up and down. I have a gate in front of the door so Jeanne doesn't get confused and opens the door. Oh well, I had a nice cruise and semi lifting a 70 lb dog isn't so bad (ask the dog where I grabbed him last night).

So tonight I cook NY Strip Steaks. 4 of them for the 4 of us. 12 oz each. Sharon and I both eat half of ours. Matt eats all of his. Lisa does not even start hers. She is filled with corn on the cob. Matt sees her steak and asks if he can have it.

He eats the whole thing. 24 oz of steak. He is now eating desert.

This is why the DCL pays for itself! :rotfl:

We have a laundry fairy! But it always shrinks my bras and DD's t-shirts. Bad laundry fairy! :maleficen

That is not a problem we have ever had at our house. You must have a different laundry fairy! :rotfl2:

How was the food?

How did it compare to DCL?

How was the diving?
