Hi everyone. Just checking in after another great day at the festival. Tonight was a much earlier night for us and it feels good to be relaxing back in the room.

We had to totally redo Kellly's room last year............thanks to Hurricane Frances. So, we painted and put up a chair rail...........new bedding, etc. She promised it would stay nice. HA!

Ta-Dah! All the clothes are put away........junk put away, and she is usually none the wiser. And if anyone tells her what REALLY happens when she goes to the gym, I'll kill you!

I can't believe that I was the last one on last night and first one on this morning. I'm sure that won't happen again. Emily woke me at 6:45 a.m. I can't wait until they're old enough to fend for themselves that early on a weekend.

Very busy day for us again today. We didn't get much accomplished yesterday.

Good Morning All - I think the food on RCL is comparable to DCL. The breakfast and lunch menu doesn't change in the sit down dining room. The only variety is a lunch special. I prefer the Windjammer to Topsiders, MUCH larger with a great view from almost the entire restaurant, more variety of choices and more food stations. Also the one large dining room is more open with an ocean view on both sides. Our wait staff and room attendent were great. Since this was our 2nd sailing on Grandeur we looked up some crew, including Capt Hakkan. I got to see Grandeur at night in Bermuda and she is not as breathtaking as Magic or Wonder. This was my 4th sailing with RCI and I will sail with them again. One last comment, the non smoking policy varies from ship to ship. On Grandeur smoking was allowed anywhere on the outside decks but only in 1 small bar, card room and casino.

Happens ALL the time at my house. The sad thing is, with Kelly's room, she has so much................"stuff", shall we say...........that you can throw alot of it away, and 99% of the time, she never misses it.

Not so with KT. She has her "stuff" inventoried in her brain. We cleaned out her room and redecorated it while she was at Grandma and Grandpa's one week (ala Trading Spaces) We pitched a lot of her "junk."

She LOVED her room, but she definitely noticed things were missing. For example....she picked up this little ceramic box she has and opened it. She said "where's the blue bead that was in here?" We just stood there looking dumb like we had NO idea. She said "I found that in the Kroger parking lot 2 years ago!"

Ooops, I had NO idea it had sentimental value to her!

I figure when she starts dating, she will want a nice room to show.

Not a chance in the world any of KT's boyfriend will ever see her room. At least not until she's 35.

Nope, no boyfriends for me......can hardly handle the DH.....but I DO have lots of VEGAS MEN!

If I had time for a boyfriend, I'd throw in an extra load of laundry instead. Or maybe mop my kitchen floor. Nope...no time for a boyfriend!

Fun day for us yesterday....
Went to the local indoor gym (ala hamster tubes and slides and such) It was supposed to be a big reunion for the Key Camp counselors, but we were the ONLY family to show up. That's alright....we left after lunch and headed to Easton....where we stayed until quite late. Picked up a wedding shower gift and the wedding gift for Mike's sister. WHO in their right mind registers for a creme brulee torch for their wedding----guess I'm too practical, I registered for the things I actually NEEDED. I hate wedding registries....Not a chance in the world I'll spend $65 for ONE place setting of silverware that the couple will be lucky to use once a year! Anyway, I digress....

Speaking of digress (not really) Nearly wrecked the car on the way home b/c I was laughing so hard. Kids were feeding Mike Bertie Bots every flavor beans. The kids were eating the normal ones--cherry, apple, buttered popcorn--and feeding Mike the bad ones--vomit, boogers, dirt, soap! HA! The hacking that Mike was doing was making me laugh till I cried. Ah....memories!

Today the kids and Mike are on their way to Cedar Point. They "borrowed" the teenage son from Mike's nurse so that each kid would have a partner on the big rides. I've got the day to myself....hmmmm, what to do, what to do.... (I remember last year's Cedar Point trip....we had a 9 week old puppy from hell that I had to stay home with! This will be a much better day!

COOL! An unexpected TOP for me, Mike, the kids, a borrowed teen and crazy brides who register for creme brulee torches!

Seems we might have ANOTHER cat. He showed up a couple of days ago. EXTREMELY thin. When I pet him, I swear I could have picked him up by his spine!! Against my better judgement I pulled out a can of cat food (which he inhaled) Two days later he's still sitting outside my door crying for attention. He doesn't have to cry for food because we have an outdoor cat and this new cat is always by the bowl waiting in the morning. He is DEFINITELY an ex-indoor cat. He's very sweet, loves attention, and is declawed. I may call the shelter tomorrow and see if anyone has been looking for him....although with as thin as he is, he hasn't been home for awhile.
