Good Morning All - TV night last night, Lost and L&O. You all, especially Ohiominnie, had fun. Thanks for the laughs.

Yup. That's because we didn't have any 24 episodes to watch. I had to do something. I did cross stitch some. Working on a penguin in a snow globe for Nick. He's pretty cute (the penguin, not Nick)....ok..ok...Nick is pretty cute too!

Yea!!! Last year, our kids missed sooooo many school days after the hurricanes... and my 'backup' child care (the YMCA) was being used as a shelter instead... you DO have reason to celebrate today!!

Busy night here last night... I got caught up watching "E-Ring"... glad to see Dennis Hopper back on TV again... he's a friend of my former boss- I've had the opportunity to meet him a few times- nice guy. And its good to see him playing a more 'positive' role than he did on 24!!

He played Victor Drazen in Season 1... not sure if you've gotten that far yet... forgot when he showed up.

I was just looking at the 24 website... the season premiere is 4 hours over 2 nights... Jan 15 & 16th... 8PM...

I understood the Japanese scientist found it at 900 meters. That's almost 3000 feet deep!! I surprised they had light to take the pictures with!!

Gosh, y'all were busy last night! I had a lot of catching to do this morning ... when I should be working!

Thanks for all of the well-wishes. Yesterday was pretty overwhelming - a lot of questioning (on my part) whether I'm making the right decision. I'll have to get someone to post on my status after surgery. I'll be in the hospital for a week but hopefully can get out of bed long enough to post once I get home. I doubt I'll be catching up though. Y'all will just have to have fun without me.

Fall will be dipping down into the south here too. Low in the 50s on Fri. night! CHILLY!!!
