Yep -we're meeting everybody at WDW - YBC and then going to Vero on Sunday - we'll be there until the next Saturday.

Sad, but true....I remember the Osmonds from the Andy Williams show, too. And then they brought their cute little sister on, too!

A friend of mine won tickets to see Donny Osmond this past winter and nobody would go with her. Guess who went? ME!!! It was fun. He still looks really, really good. Handsome as ever. Talk about your groupies. Are any of you Donny Osmond groupies? There were a bunch of women who stood alongside the wall of the theatre and sang EVERY song with him!!! OMG. Now, growing up I had Donny's picture all over my room(I'm 41), but these women need a LIFE! They flew in from all over the country. One women flew into Peekskill, NY(which is right on the Hudson River, just south of West Point) from Ohio to see him. Now that's dedication. A little on the insane line. They had jean jackets with his name across the back in studs, pictures of him on a button, most of his groupies wore Purple. Trivia question, Does anyone know why? It was a little extreme for me. This one woman stormed the stage with a record(now I'm showing my age) cover for him to sign when he was right in the middle of a song. She did end up with a kiss from him, though.

Anyway, he's still a cutie in my book, but I don't think I would fly across the country to see him.

Speaking of a generation gap.....I love when my kids here a song and refer to it by a recent movie. Like the Monkees song that's in Shrek, the title seems to escape me right now. I tell them that that song was out before they were a glimmer in my eye. Some 30-odd years ago. Or if someone does a re-make and they think it's brand new. Ahhh, kids. sometimes I wish we could stay that innocent and naive for a little while longer.

OK, it's 4:55am here and I couldn't sleep. So, I think I'll go downstairs and let some infomercial either put me to sleep or make me grap my credit card to order it. I'm really liking that "bullet" thing. Anybody have it? You know, it's like a little blender? Gotta go now, I might be missing it.

Happy Thursday!

In honor of Donny Osmond I made today purple. Why do his fans wear purple? Because back when they were The Osmonds each of the boys wore white costumes with a signature color as part of it. Donny's was purple. That led to him wearing purple socks which he did for years and years and years!

I've always liked the Osmonds but never would call myself a groupie. I work with one however. They plan all their trips around the Osmonds. Go see them in Vegas, went to their star ceremony in Hollywood, the whole 9 yards!

Good morning all. We finally had a cool day yesterday of our 100+ degree days. Only 83, thought I would need to get a jacket out (haha)

Funny story from my one and only Donny Osmond concert.

Donny was in town about 4 years ago and my loving husband took me to the concert. As we are walking in from the parking lot he looks around and all he sees are females. He turns to me and asks if he'll be the only guy there. I assure him no he won't because my boss at the time was going to the same concert with her DH.

So we go it - still mostly female. We are up on the balcony looking down at the crowds as the doors still weren't open yet when up the stairs walk two women followed by two men. So I turn to Mark and say - "see those woman brought their husbands". Just then the women go up one side of the stairs and the two men go up the other. Mark turns to me and says "I don't they are here with those woman - I think they are here for Donny".

It was a great show but it was a little wierd seeing woman my age and older screaming like they were still 13 years old.

Same thing at a Neil Diamond Concert - people-watching was a lot of fun - the screaming, rushing the stage and tons of black spandex from the older fans...

All this talk about Donny Osmond in interesting. I never was a groupie kind of guy. To this day, Diana talks about the different actors or actresses that star in movies and I find it hard to keep up. Who??? What movie????
