Tonight, August 2nd is the premier of Meet Mister Mom...

TV Guide says "watch the hilarious fun as dads face the Mt. Everest of home life---fending for themselves while moms get a well-deserved luxury vacation. Each week two families compete to see who does the better job of cooking, cleaning and filling mom's shoes as they realize just how irreplaceable she is in their daily lives.

Tonight on NBC at 8pm

The Scubas will be. We cancelled Ft Lauderdale plans and are now planning on spending Sunday at a Pre-Cruise Meet with whomever is around that day.

Thus far - Sam and I, Amanda and crew, Scubas and possibly KikiKaren and crew for Sunday - around 1:00 ish...waiting to hear from Amanda since park time is precious for those of us without passes...

Irene - Mark says he's cool with breakfast Sunday morning if you want to get together after Mass.

If we can meet on Saturday - that would leave Sunday free for you to go "catch a ship"....

I just found out that we might actually be moving that weekend (instead of Sept 30...)... but keep me posted- you know NOTHING is definite when it comes to closing on a house... and if things DON'T go as planned, I just might need a major diversion that weekend!!!!

Yes I drive. It is about 400 miles from here, but about 200 of it is on 2 lane state highways until I can get to I-75 so it still takes us just as long as it would you. About 7 1/2 hours. This time it will be just be me and DD Taylor who is celebrating her 9th bday and Nathan (2) because he did not get to go with us in May. The way I look at travel, if I can get somewhere in less than or equal to the amount of time I would have spent at work that day than it is worht a long weekend trip! LOL

Oh how I wish I was one that was going to the "mini-meet". It's not hotter in FL than it is up here in NY. OMG, it's almost oppressive. But not as hot as the SW. It's a different hot though, right? No humidity down there? I could be wrong, or is that Arizona? Anyway, Scoopie is not going to the "mini-meet", he's here in NY. He's going over the falls in a barrel. Whhooopppiiee!!!

Good morning Maria. The one mini-meet we are talking about is not this weekend but rather September 3rd. Patty (ladypoo) is taking Scoopie on the Eastbound repo cruise and they get off on September 3rd. Mark and I are going on the DVC Member cruise which leaves on Sunday September 4th. We are meeting in Epcot to do a Scoopie Swap! Irene and Amanda will be down there as well so we are going to meet up in Epcot!

Then I think they are getting together with the Scuba's and maybe even Karen (kiki) on Sunday.

Hope Scoopie likes Niagra Falls - tell him to be careful! Have fun!
