The "REAL" Scoopie could have come with us on our Non-Disney cruise, but we leave on the 23rd (of Dec)....no time to get him from one place to the other....:sad1:
Maybe he would like to come to Arizona in January, and see how nice it is with no snow???

January would work - keeping with the southwest theme - he'll be with the tinks for the end of Dec...

Well, I remembered I had meant to order the next Mitford book for Mike's mom before I left home, but I had forgotten.

Is it out??!!!! Isn't it supposed to be the last book? I love that series!!! Of course, there's very few books I've read that I haven't enjoyed...

Just finished reading Wicked - the musical is very loosely based on the book - that book took a bit getting used to...

I still have one in my attic... I'd be more than happy to donate it to your 'research'... :rotfl2: we haven't used it in years, yet somehow, it moved here with us 2 years ago...

oooh - there was an apple on Antiques Roadshow a while back - of course it was also signed by the apple guys it was worth big bucks...

If a little ole Disney Panama Canal pin can go for a few hundred bucks on ebay- what can an old Apple go for?

Thought I'd share this recipe with ya'll. We've been making this a lot lately. It's great as a main course, but make extra to slice up for a salad the next day. In fact, I just grilled some so that I can have it on my salad tomorrow.....

Southwest Chicken

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 clove garlic, pressed (I used roasted, minced)
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 pound skinless boneless chicken breast halves or thighs (I pound mine out first)

Combine oil, garlic, chili powder, cumin, oregano and salt. Brush over both sides of chicken to coat. Grill chicken until done.

I usually mix the above with mayo - I'll have to try it with olive oil -I'm sure it would be healthier...

Oh, I don't know....
We just started her on the series....I think she's up to the one where Father Tim and Cynthia get married (I'd have to check my past amazon orders to make sure!) As she finishes one, we have amazon ship her the next one.... gotta love Amazon Prime!

I just finished the second Miss Julia book...have you read those?

And today I started, and could hardly put down to make dinner for the kids, Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas......WOW. Last chapter I read had me in tears!!

But gotta make dinner so I can get the kids to VBS on time.

But of course, we have the OSU Buckeye logo on the front of ours!! And the base which keeps it off the floor.

And, OF COURSE, the labels on the front all tell of the COKE products that are supposedly lurking inside, waiting to be consumed....

Don't believe everything you read!

OK, this is funny. You might want to check Ebay closed auctions before you give that thing away. Some of the old ones sell for big $$$$.

Oh that would be so dangerous in our house - wouldn't have it with the OSU logo, though... :rolleyes1

remember, kikiKaren thinks ebay is for freaks. She wouldn't be caught dead selling her old computer on ebay!!! even if it meant padding her pockets for cruise spending money.

In case anyone missed Scoopie and Sue's Alaskan Trip report - I put the posts together on Scoopie's website. I streamlined the pages a bit so, that his journal will be linked to his itinerary...To see the trip reports, go to "Where's Scoopie" and the links will be available...

I also updated his schedule.

If someone will actually bid on an imaginary friend, I think some buyers have less sanity than the sellers...

Wonder what I could put in it?
