:teleport: RIP Jimmy. I'm sure Gene and De will be there to greet you,

A while back, everyone was talking about whether or not they're staying at WDW before the cruise....we will probably just stay at the Hyatt at the airport. The kids' "official" last day of school is the 26th, a half day that they will miss. So we'll fly in to Orlando on the 26th...not enough time to do the parks. As to whether we'll stay for a few days after....I don't know.
With all the travel we've done this summer, I'm totally afraid to even mention staying a few days to Jay......

You could always make a "mistake" on the cruise dates.......

We do have rain predicted for tomorrow...but southwest Phoenix seems to get that more than we do...

The big news for today, Matt passed the test for his learner's permit. Tomorrow we go get his license. Funny how they can't remember algebra, but can get every question right on the drivers test. :confused3

Watch out Kikipug! Matt has the Jeep!

Hi Folks - I saw the final "beam me up" before I logged on....Kinda sad! :sad2:

I grew up on Star Trek - which poses the question, does art imitiate life or does life imitate art. Let's think - doors that open sideways, computer pads, communicators, female bridge officers, quadrokiddakalee (or whatever that bio-engineered grain the Tribbles ate is called and spelled)

Here is today's challenge - what else from the original show can this group think of, that are now part of our everyday lives. And no fair asking Jeeves.

Kevin's been picking on Matt for his typos. As if he should talk!

Congrats to the new SCUBA DRIVER!!!!

:cheer2: Way to go Matt - Just don't come to Texas to pick Lisa up :teeth:

Maybe can't remember Algebra - but, have a bit more motivation for the driver's test... :rotfl2:

Even though I share birthdays with big bad Bill, There is only one person that put me where I am today, an engineer, in the full Trek sense of the word. Sad to hear, but grateful he didn't suffer on too much longer.

Hi Mark - This is Hedgie - Chip&Dale&Fun's friend and soon to be Bear's friend. My favorite Star Trek friend is the Tribble....they like to eat and drink...I would post a picture of a tribble and Scottie but I do not have enough posts to do.

Anyway - how do I paste a picture of Stitch as my avatar - the one I selected from Disboards is too big - where did you find yours?

Thanks....This is the link for the picture. Web moderators will not let this poor pathetic hedgehog post a url yet. It is off of the
disgalaxy link - Stitch playing guitar! Perfect for a rock n roll hedgehog!
Thanks again!!!!!!!

I think you have to have a postcount before you do, but under usercp/edit avatar at the bottom it has two options, either upload it yourself, or paste a http link.

Hi Mark - Hedgie has logged out - she is too slow....Anyway, pasting the URL link comes back with a note that the picture is too big, even though it is off of the dis-boards site. I think I can post an URL as an avatar even before the required number of posts.....Any help appreciated. :wave2: .

Profound question - when was I promoted to a cast member, I did not even notice.....I Wonder what the Magic post was that got me there?

What a TOP ---

Shared with the Magic ------- the Wonder ----- and profound questions everywhere......

Fluff anyone? :cheer2:

The one that comes to mind for me is the universal translator.

So FAR we have:

doors that open sideways, computer pads, communicators, female bridge officers, quadrokiddakalee (or whatever that bio-engineered grain the Tribbles ate is called and spelled)

and
MRI, CAT scan, voice controlled computers, cell phone, miniskirts
