453 Days

It's Spring Break - 75 degrees and sunny - only downfall is that we spent yesterday cleaning out the garage and doing yard work...

Just finished Jimmy Buffet's Tales from Margaritaville trying to make the next 453 days pass quickly...Not working

One year ago today the countdown would have read 2 days... sigh...

Now, it's off to do the "mother" clean - my parents arrive tomorrow from Chicago for a long weekend....

I checked out mousesavers this morning. I think some of you were waiting for AP room-only discounts. They're out today for April-July. Wish they'd come out with discounts for Disney Visa cardholders!

One of the things I've discovered is that Disney doesn't volunteer information - they'll provide the information if the question is asked....When booking for last year's WDW trip with my girlfriend, I discovered room specials and discounts on the backstage tours when I asked if the Disney Visa offered special discounts.

Sometimes, it pays (or saves) to ask!!!

Just finished Jimmy Buffet's Tales from Margaritaville trying to make the next 453 days pass quickly...Not working

So you have plenty of time for "A Salty Piece of Land"... his new one... I got it for Christmas, but haven't gotten around to starting it yet. I figure it will be good airplane reading for my flight to San Diego next week. (I have a hard time sitting in one place for that long... the book had better be good!!!)

Glad to hear you've got sun... its pouring here, and I am off to spend the day in the biker bars... for work, of course.

Amanda, did you get rooms? We are staying at the Music Value rooms. Misti got a postcard, so we used it to get cheap rooms. We are working the most of the week before that.

WOOHHOO looks like we got apossible minimeet setting up here! I did indeed get an AP rate at POP. I will be there along with the riffa raff May 26 thru June 1st (possibly the 2nd I am debating now)

Amanda, I'll be at POP too! Got it this morning. Actually the whole process took the ENTIRE morning, between being on hold and making three different sets of reservations. Almost done, then realized we had to split our two rooms for the June 3 weekend into three different reservations so that our guests can use Magical Express. Then I had to call DVC member services to cancel one night and get things linked, etc. Whew! My ear really hurt after all that.

I didn't get much done today either.

There, that's better. With the left eye closed i can see just fine. The left eye is like looking through a steam room. But that should (hopefully) get better as the post-op corneal swelling improves.

thanks for all of your concerns, prayers, and well-wishing. I'm going to try a half day back at work tomorrow. Hopefully, the red/watery eye won't scare off too many munchkins.

And i promise to do a better job keeping up!
