5/27/06 "Il pochi il fiero i blabbermouths" We *will* sail again Part 2

Amanda, I'll be at POP too! Got it this morning. Actually the whole process took the ENTIRE morning, between being on hold and making three different sets of reservations. Almost done, then realized we had to split our two rooms for the June 3 weekend into three different reservations so that our guests can use Magical Express. Then I had to call DVC member services to cancel one night and get things linked, etc. Whew! My ear really hurt after all that.

I didn't get much done today either.

Oh great!!! This is all working out so great! I am excited to meet with you and the kids! What a trip that you had such a hassle making your ressie. I saw Angie's (CajunGirl) post and called as soon as I got home, had a CM in a bout 5 minutes, had not trouble getting the date I wanted at POP with an AP discount. Then the kids came home from school, and thats when my nice serene call went to heck! LOL I hit the off button with my ear, on the cordless. THen once I got the kids settled, I dialed back in, THIS time I was on hold for a good 20 minutes!

There, that's better. With the left eye closed i can see just fine. The left eye is like looking through a steam room. But that should (hopefully) get better as the post-op corneal swelling improves.

thanks for all of your concerns, prayers, and well-wishing. I'm going to try a half day back at work tomorrow. Hopefully, the red/watery eye won't scare off too many munchkins.

And i promise to do a better job keeping up!

We talked with the breeder tonight. She's taking Maggie back. After all the problems I've had with this dog, why am I sitting here crying over the loss? Maybe I'll be able to explain it more tomorrow....

Ohhhhhminnie......I'm so sorry....now I'm sitting here with tears in MY eyes. I do know how you feel. Even when they're a pain in the butt, they still have their moments when they manage to get under your skin and into your heart!
Same thing here when I had to place Sadie and Scout.....they were so mean to Molly, biting her and not letting her eat. But they were such pretty dogs, and I'd had them since they were tiny. It's a very hard decision to make. BIG BIG HUGS!!!!
If and/or when I ever do get another dog, it's going to have to be small enough that I can control it. I just don't think I have what it takes to break that will and need for dominance that dogs have.

Sometimes, decisions are hard to come by. Sometimes, the decisions "make" themselves......

All things come to pass for a reason, even if that reason isn't obvious to us at the time. Hope you feel better about.
