I'll do my part, Mary, but I'll bet it's not going to me.

Hey guys, I was just thinking and you'll probably think I'm crazy, but are any of you are planning on getting in the day before our cruise? And, if you are, where do you think you'll stay? It would be cool if we could stay at the same hotel the night before. Just curious. Ya know it's only 12 months away. Can you imagine the hysteria in 11 months? I won't be able to sleep much.

Just thought I would throw that out there. My husband thinks I'm nuts!!! He may be right....:confused3  I don't care, it gets me through the day.

Just to let you know, I have requests for 39 shirts already and we have 1 year left. How many did you have last time?

TTFN,
Maria

Just got back from Epcot... spent the day there for Christopher's 8th birthday today. We activated our AP's, and got his birthday button, which really made his day. He got a birthday phone call from Goofy, free ice cream, and LOTS of birthday wishes. He has a severe fear of heights, so some attractions are 'not so fun' for him... so we planned our day accordingly. I hadn't been to Epcot since '99... so there was quite a bit that was new or updated.

Elizabeth and I did Mission Space... phenomenal... but riding it twice in a row (within 5 minutes... no line) isn't such a great idea... felt a little gross after that! We hit Soarin' too... I wasn't as impressed as I thought I'd be... but it was cool nonetheless. There wasn't too much that we missed, though we didn't spend a whole lot of time in any one place.

Thanks OhioMinnie & Mickey for the overcast skies... made the lines non-existent...

Sharon... I may take the kids back next Saturday too... Ray has a golf tourney all day...

Maria - we'll be sleeping in our warm cozy beds the night before the cruise... unless I decide to sleep in my car at the port to insure that I beat the Scuba's out of town...

We'll need 2 polos & 2 tees... I'll get you sizes closer to the trip... my kids are growing like weeds right now...

Mary, do you have that pic on your computer to post it? At least that many! I sure hope Garry and Vicki got their money for all those shirts.

Maria...we have to fly in the day before...too hard to do it in one day, and sometimes I miss the airport exit..:guilty:

Unless there's something really fun going on at WDW, we'll stay at the Hyatt Orlando Airport.

TiggerinNY...The Lass family would like 4 shirts, please. Probably 2 polo and 2 T's, but can I wait a little while before I decide for sure. Now about the hotel...

We will come in early. We like the Radisson, but I'm willing to look for other places. Our first meet was with a DIS family at the Radisson. :grouphug: It was fun to board the ship already knowing someone. Let's start looking for some good deals.

Many wore there shirts for the photo shoot. We had the wine party right after this and then went right to early seating dinner. That's why Mark and I look a bit more dressed up than the others. :)

I know gaRry and Vicke brought a ton of shirts. She was even selling some on the ship.

We'll definately fly in the night before. Not sure if we will do a morning or afternoon flight. That may decide where we stay that night.

Thanks everyone for getting back to me about the shirts. I really don't need sizes, just wanted to get kind of a head count to ask my friend if she's willing to embroider....let's see what the count is now...46 shirts. AND we have 12 months to go. I love it!!

As far as where to stay the night before...I know I'm jumpin the gun a little, but I was just curious. I've never done this before and if we could get a good concentration of us beforehand, that would be neat. Especially for the kids. The e-mailing between the kids should be fun. Maybe we could use a new thread called "kids' cruisin" or something like that so just the kids can post on it.

OK..I'm going to bed now. Need all the beauty rest I can get. Talk with you folks tomorrow.

OH hey, am I the only blithering idiot that cries every time they watch Extreme Makeover Home Edition? I just watched it (TIVO) and couldn't stop crying. Thank God my husband went to bed already. I felt like a jerk on the couch but it's soooo wonderful what they do for these people. Tonight's episode was about this man who got shot in the head in Florida while at work and is now blind. Three people got shot and he was the only one to survive. The shooter killed himself afterward. It was in Tampa, FL about 3-4 months ago. I'm sure you all have read about it. Tragic. Makes you appreciate the little things in life. After watching my husband always says, "See, we don't have any problems". He's right. I lose site of it sometimes when I blow up at the kids or things just don't go the way you want to. But every Sunday night, I get a quick reminder and it brings me back to Earth.

I'm really going to bed now.

TTFN,
Maria

Thanks for the dive update. Great to hear Alicia did well. I would expect nothing else from her after seeing her dive. She is a good diver, in fact both our kids are good divers.

Much of that is because we get them in the water. Need to keep training and practicing or they forget the skills. Honey, it's only for the children! ;)

You are SOO right! It is for the children and the child inside of me and you as well!!

Kevin, got some pictures for you.
Thanks, I responded to your email.

Sharon forgot to mention that since OhioMickey and OhioMinnie are here, it is wet and overcast. Looks just like Ohio. I'm not planning on doing anything outdoors until they go back home.
So what is it about OhioMinnie and clouds anyway??

That picture brings back memories.

I found almost everybody, but I can't see Jim. Were you in the Rainforest room again??? :earseek:

Mary,

That picture is awesome. I know I'm supposed to be in bed but that picture is too much. Can we get one like that too? That's a lot of shirts. There's like 79 people in that picture. Did they all order shirts? Holy cow!!!

Now I'm going to bed and probably will dream of this shirt. ahahahhaha:rotfl2:

Nite nite.

Maria

Who ARE all those people in that big picture???

Mary...can you name them all for us....left to right, clockwise.......;)

Ya know, there's only 7 more posts for 5000!!! anybody want it? Where's Stace? She's usually here.

I keep waiting for Virgil pirate: or gaRry to come in and steal it!!

Who is it going to be??

That would be ME!! Even with the evil administator telling me to wait..... pirate: pirate:
