5/27/06 "Il pochi il fiero i blabbermouths" We *will* sail again Part 2

ok - you guys are true Disney Cruise Fans, so be kind to us newbies. I thought I'd "finally" let you know that we (DH & I) will be joining you as I have been trying to catch up on these posts.....you are a chatty group and I love the daily welcomes from WDWLVR. Guess we'll need more shirts?

DH and I took our first cruise (Disney or otherwise) in January of 2005 on a 4 day Magic turnaround cruise. It was fantabulous.

We could not wait to go again so when I saw rates posted for the Double Scoop (at this point I would insert an ice cream cone graphic, but dispite reading the primer, I cannot seem to post clip art) Anyway, we are on board.

Then, we could not wait a whole year, so we booked a 7 day Eastern. Gotta get this cruise thing under control, but it seems we have lots of catching up to do.

Why did we not cruise sooner....We love WDW.....

Our family is John dh, Maggie dd8, and Mike dd10. This is our 2nd cruise, the first was in March 2004. This group is a wonderful, wacky group, some more wacky than others...Some have cruised together and some have not...But, it's a very open and welcoming group - they'll give you time to settle in and become part of the family!!! Anyone who wades through the entire thread to catch up deserves a medal...

We took our first cruise in Sept 2003, booked the 10 day Xmas cruise on board, decided we didn't want to wait that long - so we took a 4 day over Easter 2004. We already had a cruise booked for Easter 2006 when this cruise came up - and we got pulled into the mix by all of the 10 day folks who were going.... so here we are yet again....

Now we're wondering if we can wait until Easter for our next cruise!!!

I'm glad you enjoy the good mornings. It was actually started back on the thread for the 10 Day Christmas Cruise. Stacey (justmestace) started it by saying good night as she was always one of the later ones on. Then I started with the good mornings and then the weekly countdown. After that was over and a number of us booked this cruise I thought I would just continue.

Chip&Dale&fun - welcome to our little family here. Don't worry, we'll get you shirts, too. Where are you guys from? Check out WDWLVR's website. It's great. Let's you put a face to a name. Make sure you send a picture of yourselves. The info you'll need is: Names and birthdates, cabin #, early or late seating and where you're from. Well, feel free to chime right in. I think the rest of these guys are hysterical.

Speaking of T-shirts, about how many do we need? Can everyone just give me an idea? I guess sizes, if you have them. But not necessary right now. I want to just make sure my friend is willing to do the number we need. I know more people are going to be joining in. There's goes the compulsive planner in me. I never like to wait til the last minute.

My kids had their very 1st TaeKwonDo tournament this afternoon! My dd (8) got 3rd place in sparring! My DS (9) got 1st place in sparring and 3rd place in forms! And my little tiger cub DS (5) was awesomely cute!

You know what that means - we cruise in 12 months!

OMG!!!! 12 months!! I can't wait.

We are going to need this cruise like I can't tell you.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: We have footings and block wall/foundation up. Very exciting. They just have to come back next Saturday and put the caps on the tops for the lumber. Next, put one deck on and then back fill and we're ready to go. Too exciting. Once we get "out of the hole" LOOK OUT! That's when it really starts to take shape and you can recognize a house or addition. That's when you say, "It looked bigger before". When the walls go up and it gets closed in. I'll keep you posted.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday. The weather in NY is kinda yucky but they promise that this afternoon we will see the sun again. Yeah, right! Talk to you guys soon.
