Just below his pretty PINK bandage, you can see the black marker where they outlined his area of redness for comparison tomorrow.

Sounds like we all had a really special Christmas....hot dogs, mac and cheese, grab what you can, PJ and sweats, hospital visits.

I think we all need to spend Christmas on a cruise ship where they will take care of us and make it Magical.

Good morning everyone. Stacey so sorry to hear about Jared's arm. You have really had a bad holiday season.

I agree with Jim that we would have all been better off being on a cruise together!

Our Christmas Day was very quiet. Morning Mass, a nice breakfast, watched the Disney parade, then just chilled out most of the day. I made a small turkey breast for dinner for just the two of us and we both made it an early evening. Christmas Eve was ok but a little strained. We were at my in-laws and they just seemed to get more and more distant. Dinner was painfully quiet. Part of it I think stems back to the year we weren't around (we were on the cruise). My BIL & SIL declared they were going to see Alien vs. Predator on Christmas (nice holiday film), they asked my MIL & FIL what they were doing and they said going to a casino. They asked us and we told them we were going to be old fashioned and go to church. My MIL's response: "different strokes for different folks". I'm not surprised as my SIL is the one who told me many years ago that the reason we like Disney so much is that we believe in fairy tales like the birth of Christ. Nice thing to say to a Catholic on Christmas.:scared1: The funny thing is they have this large light up nativity scene outside their house (BIL & SIL live upstairs of MIL & FIL). Oh well. That's why we enjoyed Christmas Day much better. Is it any wonder why we love WDW at holiday time so much? Christmas trees, Candlelight Processional, MVMCP...loved them all. :)

Our Christmas morning was really nice. For the first time that I can remember, all four of us (with Megan on the phone about 6 times yesterday!) sat down to breakfast together....after we opened presents. We were watching the parade the whole time, and we all just LOVED watching especially the little girls in their Princess dresses, waving to the stars, and Santa, dancing to the music.
I said something at breakfast about how special Disney is.....magical...and how for me anyway, it makes Christmas (without my extended family) feel so much better. I said "I love Disney!" and Jay said "Who could tell?" :lmao:

So Mary....at least we're all together in our "fantasy" land. I prefer it here. ;)

Boy, do I look like CARP.

No pj pictures here. We were dressed and out the door by 6:30 am for 7 am Mass. When we got back we changed into more comfortable clothes but not back into pj's. Plus since we had no gifts to open yesterday (our gift was our early December trip) no need to take pictures. :)

Happy day after Christmas everyone. John changed photo hosting sites - as soon as I can get him to post Christmas pix, he will. No jammie photos - cameras are banned during stockings.

Our big dinner was Christmas Eve with John's aunt, uncle and cousins - John did a great job putting everything together. We opened presents in the morning - kids' big highlight was their cell phones. We did the pay-as-you go plans as a trial basis. they'll have to pay if they go over . In afternoon, had a "leftover" Christmas with friends - we combine leftovers for a casual afternoon meal. No one has to cook...

We watched Harry Potter 5 - it was a present from Santa along with all three Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

I went to substitute teach water aerobics at the Y - thunder and lightning took care of classes - still had to stick around since I was scheduled to teach two. Now, I'm off to teach at the hospital sports med facility. I will get people there - it's indoor...

Sorry, no cameras allowed on Christmas morning, or any morning actually. I could show you pictures of the cousins maybe, but they are dressed.

Stacey, I thought the same thing. "Good thing they weren't on the cruise, they would be quarantined!" I hope Jared if feeling better, and I would not have watched that procedure. You are one tough Mama!

Last Christmas morning photos I took were of the kids 'opening' their DCL surprise in '05. Haven't taken a Christmas AM photo since!!!

Wow... haven't had a TOP in a long time!!!!

Good thing we weren't on a ship right now, Jared would be quarantined!

There is a nice 4 day cruise that departs on 12/24. That might work real well for some Florida locals.

You guys are no fun at all. Come on, Jim...there HAVE to be some pictures of your family!!
:rotfl2:

Jared says he already feels better than he has for four days. Bad Mommy. Should have forced him to go earlier.

I'm a little scared to plan another Christmas cruise....
Then again....I think the problem was, that this one wasn't DISNEY.....

I looked at the cost of the Tortola cruise that Virgil is going on...July '09 I think it is......For Jay, Jared and I in a Cat 4....almost $8000:sad2: .....we had that nice house in Turks and Caicos for a week for less than $2000. But then again, it wasn't DISNEY....

Hey gaRry....you better be nice to me or I'll put you on THE LIST

The DOO-DOO list..........

I'm outta here....therapy time.......
Thanks for the sig suggestion Mary!
