GaRRy- Diana - feel better..

Hey, I'll STAND ANYWHERE if I can C*R*U*I*S*E***************

Tell Hedgie that it isn't so much the big suites that spoil you, as much as it is a loooooonger time onboard. Eleven nights just makes you want fourteen, and fourteen would just make me want 21......it would be never-ending!

I had the cheese cauliflower pototoes accompanyment - also very good.

And all this time, I thought WDW was a magical place... any place that serves cauliflower CAN'T be all that magical...

(And I can't figure out why DCL serves it to the kids EVERY NIGHT... they must throw more cauliflower away than anything else on the ship!!!!)

Why did God create a vegetable that, when cooking, smells like dirty socks???

I need to get my weight back up 189 now 170 about 6 weeks time.

And I need to LOSE 19 lbs in exactly 6 weeks for my 20th class reunion... you and I are the same blood type... can I be a fat donor???

But seriously, I agree with Stacey... you need prayers, pixie dust, and a smidgen more of common sense!!! Your Dr. SHOULD have issues with you working!!!!!!!

Take care!

Pssst.... we're getting close to a milestone post... it sure has been a long time!

I'm at it again.

See our Mickey??

At the Caribelle Batik Shop in St Kitts, we learned about the process of batiking.
Above the lady's head, on the wall, was a step-by-step example, and then to the right of her was hanging the finished project.

Later, we discovered that this particular batik hanging was St Kitt's gift to DCL in honor of their first visit to the island. It's tradition to exchange gifts at that time. DCL had a table that displayed the gift and plaque from St Kitts and also the one from the 10 Night first visit to Barbados.

Hedgie is already not speaking to YOU because YOU did not take her on a cruise....now she will not be talking to ME because I am only taking her on a 3 day (not even a 4 day) cruise.... :teeth:

My sentiments exactly...although I DO like cauliflower. Or did. We used to grow it in our greenhouse. I got a little tired of it, and the smell.

:rotfl2: Why does DCL serve it to adults???? :lmao:

I had wanted to try the chicken sha cha as I had it last year, but we just did not make it to China - so someone eat this for me....

China
Chicken Sha Cha (contains peanut flour)
Pork Pot Stickers
Caramel Ginger Ice Cream
Green Tea Plum Wine Cooler
Hua Xia Cabernet Sauvignon

On the other hand, I enjoyed Thailand's offerings.

Thailand
Hot & Sour Chicken Noodle Salad - very good. And it is a large serving of cold rice noodles with an slightly spicey but delectable sause of chicken and fresh veggies...yummy!!!
Vegetable Curry with Jasmine Rice and Lemon Grass - Also tried this (at a differernt time) Another stew or soup serving. Full of veggies, but not as spicy as I like. Unlike Chili, I was not offered extra spices...
Mango & Tapioca Dessert Soup
Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc
Monfort Vouvray
Singha Beer - yes, you picked it, we had the beer - not one we had tried before. Light and perfect for the heat....Strange, last year I sampled almost all the red wines, oh well.....

What a minute - I like cauliflower....

We could start a new thread - Cauliflower vs. broccoli and see if we have as many posts as the Cranberry vs. Pineapple.

Geeez - can't type as fast now I have to look and sea if I am spelling write. :rotfl:

I'm back from Philly. Quick trip....left Monday noon, back Wednesday noon.

I had a great time, but wish it was longer. Monday night or Tuesday morning we ended up in an Irish pub....had some Smithwicks with mussels. Both the beer and food tasted great.

Now time to get ready for our next trip. We had to Shades of Green on Saturday for our V&A dinner on Saturday night. Another tough weekend! :cool1:

Remember... that's the start of the DIS'es most dreaded week.... Pop Warner Week. I'm not even going to get on my Pop Warner soapbox this year on the resort or parks boards... Ray is next year's League President... I have strong opinions about those kids right to enjoy WDW and celebrate their victory despite what a lot of crabby DIS'ers think.

(But then again, I haven't been anywhere on the DIS except for this thread in months... not even the Grey's Anatomy thread!!!)
