Hello everyone, I'm still here
We had a rather exciting weekend.

YUP - SURE SOUNDS LIKE IT!!!

I got a call from BIL - he was out in the middle of the desert (Yuma) - had changed two flat tires.

NOW THIS DOES NOT SOUND LIKE FUN....YOU WERE A GOOD, BUT RATHER TOASTY, SIL - 120????

I didn't like being the rear vehicle!

SO NO CAREER ON THE NASCAR CIRCUIT FOR YOU???

The bag that did not make it home had his brand new sleeping bag, his Dive Log!, his advanced certification book, his Class A uniform, his Staff jacket and some other things.

LETS HOPE IT SHOWS UP....IT MIGHT.....ONCE, ONE OF MINE CAME HOME, LATE....

Shane had gone to a Motor Cross show and was supposed to come right home. He had just hit a car while trying to park in a parking lot at a convenience store.

OH NO.....AT LEAST NO ONE WAS HURT...AND NO POLICE REPORT.....

Hopefully it will all turn out o.k.

POOR SHANE - WEL, HE GOT HIS FIRST ACCIDENT UNDER HIS BELT......

Update on SIL...

Thanks for all your prayers and pixie dust.....She has been moved to a rehab unit still at the university hospital and has a long schedule ahead of her....strangely, she is at the cardiac unit??? maybe because of the extensive surgery?

Her son sounds hopeful for the first time in almost 4 weeks.

Thanks again for your good wishes and concerns.....we have have no idea how long this stage will be, but at least she is on the right road......

Thanksgiving prayers for Sam's sister's progress!!

Also for my brother...
He borrowed my parent's tractor to do some work around his house (full sized farm tractor with a bucket on the front and all---big, heavy thing.) Well, he had it parked on a slope and he got off and forgot to set the parking brake. Just like you'd see in a movie, it rolled down the hill backwards and ended up in the neighbor's lake! Apparently only the very front of it was visible with the two headlights sticking out.

God was really watching out for him b/c when he got off he went to the front of the tractor.....so the tractor went AWAY from him....had he gone to the back, it very well could have gone OVER him!

Wow, things are not going well in Blabbermouth land. Stacey, of course Prayers and PD for your Dad. And for the Galle family, how horrific. And for everyone else too.

M&M and Ohio family, have a nice visit. I guess there are no theme parks in London, OH, but have fun anyway.

Sherry, that was quite a story. I know Kevin would be very upset if he lost his dive log. Glad everyone made it back from Mexico OK.

Hi guys. Prayers and Pixie Dust, please.
I talked to my parents tonight and my Dad's cancer is back. He was given three choices. Shots (nasty side effects), pills ($450 a month) or surgery (not at all pleasant and I won't post it) ...... He had decided to go with the pills, although I guess it's new and may not work, and may also have side effects. My Mom thought he should have the surgery, which has been proven to be the best treatment, but he wasn't listening to her. I talked to him for a long time, he got off the phone while I talked to Mom. He got back on a while later and said that he'd decided to call the doctor in the morning and tell him that he'll have the surgery.
I'm hoping they can do it soon, so that I can be there to help.

Sorry to learn about your dad, my grandmother had cancer and it was very tough. Lots of PD and prayers from VA.

Sam hope you sister continues to improve.

Karen glad to hear your brother is ok but we'll keep our eyes posted for the status on the tractor.

Mark and Mary thanks for the update on the DVD. we just scanned our Shutters photos in so if you want them let me know and I can send it out your way, you already have our other pics. Thanks again for putting all of it together. Have fun in London, OH with the ohiominnie family.

Anyone else I missed happy birthday, have a fun trip, welcome back, PD and prayers for all who need them.

finnally got all of my 2nd cutting hay cut, NOW if the rain holds off I'll get it baled on tuesday,
well with my illness the hotter it is the more I ich. so I keep things a little cool.

We had a couple of kabooms a couple of nights ago. I hate that sound. Kevin slept right through it.

He wants to go to the zoo and biopark today, and take his camera. We are covered with clouds today, which doesn't always mean rain. But there's a good chance. It's not too hot though, that's a pro.
