We really want to do the Hilton Hawaiian Village so that is what we booked.

Mary - I've stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village twice and you will LOVE it. It's got the best part of Waikiki beach. Hawaii is the ultimate place. Especially just the 2 of you. Go and enjoy. Just 1 question-can I come?

I've been listening to tons of podcasts lately....and one I've listened to is by Joyce Meyer about having a positive attitude and the difference it can make in your life. She talked about how bad stuff happens to everyone (some more than others) but you can turn a bad attitude around by adding the words "but God" to the end of your complaint....

I lost my job.....but God....
My spouse is sick....but God....
My kid is rebellious.....but God.....

(and fill in that but God with some way that God has used that situation to help you in some way.

Interesting.

I'm actually still smiling through all of this. I definitely know that things could be a whole lot worse. I'm actually really proud of Jared and the team, his coaches are super...not the kind who yell and scream, and at least the games are at night.
And....our dentist is a friend. Great guy, lovely wife and I (honestly) enjoy going to their office. Don't let my nasty post fool you!
I love this though....I could end every single problem with......but God....has been so incredibly GOOD to us!!!

Jay did say it with a straight face...and at first the other mom didn't get it. She just looked at Jay with this funny look. I started laughing and then she goes "Ohhhhh!" and laughed.

He meant the UPS guy that once asked me out to lunch...before he knew Jay & I were married. He's still our same UPS guy.

It's FedEx that doesn't know where to deliver things.

Hey...Jay talked tonight! Opened up long enough to embarrass me. One of the Moms asked us "So...which one of you did Jared get his speed from?"

And Jay says "The UPS guy is pretty fast"....

Unfortunately, only a few of them know Jay like we do....but this lady does now!

I looked in a magnifying mirror last night, and there's another tooth that's doing the same thing, and a third one that looks like it has cracks in it. Maybe the doctor was right about the osteoporosis....would that effect your teeth???

We just had a line of bad storms pass through. DS called from home to tell me that the basement, yard, and roads were flooded. Thankfully DH should be home by now doing what he can, making sure the sump pump is working, Especially since we have a brand new one still in the box sitting at the top of the basement stairs for, oh, six months or so. Good thing that I didn't ride the scooter into work this morning.
