All this talk about camping... I will NEVER take a vacation day to spend it living in conditions that are less luxurious than my own home!!!! Vacations are a time to live BETTER than usual, not pretend you're a pioneer. But, hey... to each his own!

Congrats to Jared! Way to go! And nothing says sibling love better than having your sister yell embarassing names from the crowd!

That wax-Walt would freak me out! My former neighbor is an sculptor at the wax museum in St. Augustine... that's just creepy. It's right on track with being a mortician, if you ask me!!

Monday... back to work. My best friend is still here with her kids... I'm sending them to SeaWorld for the day while I go to work. Wow... I forgot how tiring it is to have a 5 & 6 year old in the house!!!! Makes me very thankful that my kids are past that (though I could do without their growing-up attitudes...). We took them to the beach and to the Speedway yesterday, but they are most content to just play in our pool. Kids are easy to please!!

I'd love to, but there are these things called 'vacation days' that I don't have any of this year. We're trying to figure out where to go on vacation next year. It will probably be in the camper and within a day's drive of home (read 'frugal' vacation). The OC planner in me is going crazy without anything to plan for now. Can't wait for the 2008 dates to come out. I booked our double scoop on my birthday in 2004. Can't believe it's been that long ago!

After the summer I've had, I figure I've earned a "guilt-free" trip. Honestly, though....there will be twinges of guilt, I'm sure. But hopefully they won't last long.

Normally done on the lung to remove the pleura (outer covering of the lung and chest wall). This prevents (or helps prevent) the accumulation of fluid between the lung and chest wall.
