We'll be meeting up with everyone in just about an hour for breakfast and then we'll be on the road home. It has been a great weekend with our Member Cruise friends and made extra special by being able to share it with Garry and Vicki. I think John and Garry really hit it off at dinner!

That really makes me rather afraid for our June of '08 cruise!!!

Here's something Disneylover5 posted on the "2008 Cruises ?" thread today:

"I just got off the Western yesterday and the re-booking agent said the rest of 2008 will be out late Dec...early Jan.

We booked the last 7 night available and will move to Nov when the dates come out!! So they wait should not be long now.

I asked what rumors for the Summer of 08 and they told me nothing....no rumors yet....."


Hopefully we'll know something in a couple months (fingers crossed!)

Sadly unless we change to a date later in June John & Gail won't be able to join us. Deanna's school won't be out by early June.

Stacey, Matt grilled our steaks tonight. He did a great job. Mine medium and Sharon's Medium rare.

We told him he need to go to AZ to cook your Thanksgiving dinner and his response: Ok, I can do that!

I don't know if he is just trying to ditch us for the weeken or just wants to come to AZ?

Well, tomorrow morning I get to call my doctor and get the ball rolling to (finally) see the orthopedic surgeon. It feels like it's been two weeks, not 4 days.

Hi Everybody,

Stacey - Hope the phone call to the Ortho Dr. goes the way you want it to. I just went to mine and I am now wearing a "ski boot" to see if the arthritis in my ankle gets any better. Oh yeah, I'm taking an anti-inflammatory also. Gotta wear this thing for a month and if it doesn't work, surgery to "fuse" this one joint in my ankle. Then 6 weeks off my ankle. Can you say "housekeeper"? It really stinks getting old ya know. The ole bones ain't what they used to be......

Welcome to the "40 & over" group. It's not soooo bad.... I've never been to the Dr. so much in my entire life, things hurt that you didn't even know you had, the get up and go - got up and went, grey hair is a new color, and oh yeah, the hormones play funny tricks on you and it's not even Halloween anymore. But don't worry, it's just a number.

Back from a weekend at camp with 18 teenagers. No, it wasn't as painful as it might sound...actually, we had a great time- they are really good kids. Managed to get almost 6 hours of sleep each night- which is a major accomplishment with 14 of us in one room. But, the Vegas jet-lag set in around Saturday afternoon... thank God for caffeine!!!!

While Elizabeth and I were gone, Ray's finger and the electric hedge clippers had a little altercation... he's still got all 10 fingers, but one is now split down the middle and sewed back together... ICK! Thankfully, he's not cooking Thanksgiving dinner this year. Stacey- hope you can find a sous chef!!!!!!

Yep...I guess there comes a time when we all need to be reminded that we aren't kids anymore.....and we aren't bionic, either. We just don't bounce back the way we used to.

BTW...my idiot BIL had a run-in with hedge trimmers and....how to say this delicately?....the front of his pants...... they couldn't SEW that part back together!! Honest..I kid you not. Teach him to trim hedges wearing loose sweatpants!
