I got impatient & emailed DCL this morning for our Castaway Club numbers. I just received a response with our numbers. It's official ... we're now Castaway Club members!!!

What a *pretty* good morning!!

Still trying to get caught up (guess it's never going to happen!) Hope I don't MELT today!!

Family style, they bring it to your table. The meat is served off of skewers. Try to get seated near the windows, as the family activities tend to focus on that end of the restaurant.

Adding to this -- it is quite fun...can be a lots of fun for kids.....the food is good, not as great as it once was....and all you can eat. The main attraction is the meat, sausage, turkey, shrimp off the wood fire. At one time they had salmon, not sure they have that anymore....and lazy susan dishes of appetizers, veggies etc.

Try a pineapple drink.....but just one if you have the rum in it...

they will darken the house for the Wishes fireworks...hard to see with the vegetation, but still fun....

One of our must return to every so often resturants....

Guess I had better get going. Even though I got a morning to sleep in a little, this is one of "those" days.....two baseball practices, dance, and work for Jordan.

I'll squeeze my work at the office inbetween.

This is weird......I have papers to fill out for All Stars, have to get the medical form notarized....and they want proof of residency (four different types!) for the league. But....they also want the kid's ORIGINAL birth certificate and two copies of it. I HATE the idea of handing over his original birth certificate. Is Little League baseball really that important, that they need to verify a 12 year old's date of birth...and can't do it with a copy???? Yeah...I'm gonna put my 18 year old in there play against 11 and 12 year olds, just so they can win a trophy. That's just stupid.

Can you pick up a new "original" with the raised seal...like you need if you do not have a passport.....?????Not sure the cost, but you would not lose the real one that way?????

Hi everyone

Well I have been busy booking cruises
I finally decided and paid the deposit yesterday on a 30 day Princess cruise leaving Seattle on September 23rd 2007 bound for Sydney and decided to take the kids as I don't think I could leave them for that long .

I will be changing my Disney booking for September 1st when the prices come out for 2008 and hopefully we will join you all in June.

Getting the Batmitzvah arrangements finalized and confirmed - Monday was 2 months

MIL arrives Monday for 3 months and then Saturday we are off to the beach and hopefully I will remember my laptop. My parents and sister decided to join us for the week and my Brother and SIL and Neice may come for a couple of days so luckily I thought ahead and booked a 12 sleeper!!

Hopefully I will find time to catch up soon

We need to get together for lunch one day. I mentioned it to Laura too in hopes that she can join us. Work is crazy for me right now, but maybe after the 4th we can schedule something.

Problem with it is he'd scrape all the berries off!!!! that DOES look good. KT got her Brio magazine and there is a recipe in there for no bake cheesecake. I think we'll try it tomorrow.

where do I find dark rum?

Found a recipe for roasted pineapple spears that looks really good....and it calls for dark rum (a whopping ONE tablespoon)
Thing is, I can't find REAL rum anywhere. Diluted rum, yes. Coconut rum, found that too. But nothing that even resembles a REAL rum. Don't even tell me I need to book a cruise and go to Grand Cayman!

Meyers makes a decent dark rum.

Go into your local Walgreen's and ask for the dark rum miniatures!!! Wear mismatched clothes when go, it will help!!!

This is sad, people. We are going to lose our Blabbermouth title.

Neither of my kids has to be anywhere tomorrow until 4:30...so I just might go to the mall for absolutely no reason other than I can. I can't remember the last time I was there, and I can't remember the last time I went somewhere alone.
