I am very partial to the Epson photo printers. The ones with ultrachrome inks provide outstanding prints that are archival. Another thing to consider is that you are usually best to match the paper brand to the ink brand ie Epson inks work best with Epson papers -- the ink will dry faster and last longer.

The little Epson 4x6 printers are pretty slick -- they cost about $0.30 a print.

I love my little Epson Picturemate deluxe! KT and I take it with us to the scrapbook sessions, that way if we cut a picture wrong or something (or just didn't have time to print them all) we can print right there.

We also have some clunky HP thing upstairs (it's what we started with) Works well, but usually I grab for my Epson.

Stacey, I got them flights on June 27th....Columbus to Phoenix. They leave Columbus at 6:30 am. Land in Phoenix at 9:29 am......on Delta. I put them in first class.....figure you can pay for it since they'll be your kids!

Good morning everyone!

I haven't even tought about doing our scrapbook yet. I want to wait until all the disks come in as I always find a picture or two that someone else took that I just have to use. I've already seen a few just on the disks we've gotten.

I just love looking at all the pictures as it brings back such wonderful memories.

I wish I would have taken the time to rename or label all of our pics before sending the disk, but if you waited for me to do that you wouldn't have it until next year, probably. It's going to be another hot one here, but not in the 100's.

Looks like we are close to another milestone.

We are not done with our photos yet. Hopefully this weekend. So many things to do. We have our first swim meet after being on vacation this weekend. I also have to repaint Ashley's room this weekend and then I have a house full of people coming over for the July 4th weekend.

Ashley is staying pretty busy this summer. She has swimming from 6 - 8:15 everyday, then band from 10-11 every day, volleyball camp from 1 - 3 3x week, an additional swim practice from 5:00 - 6:30 2 x a week and then 2 private swim stroke classes 2 x a week. Dale is helping out at the band camp 2 hours a day and that is about it for him. He is also going to be one of the counselors at VBS.

I so wish I had my summers off.

Pam, thought of you yesterday when I was filling out the kids' church camp forms. I had to put Aetna's information on the medical form and their address is in El Paso!!

ours have some weird spots on them. don't know what they are....maybe something on the lens (although searching the lens I don't see anything)....they really show up in those pictures of the ocean with the sky. or any other pictures with a light background. but most of the pictures are busy and you can't see them. I do not have time to edit 347 pictures! So if you decide to use them you may want to do a little editing (a little clone of sky nearby should do the trick!) Mike tried to clean the lenses, but just made it worse. I think we need a can of compressed air. Or a new camera! HA HA HA it's bad enough after the little talk Mike had with Virgil, he is now looking at something smaller and more compact.

btw, you guys will get not only cruise pictures but also all WDW pictures. seeing as Pam, Dale, and Ashley are in 1/2 of those, it seems appropriate.

there are a few pictures I did not include. Namely those that made me look really fat (ok, several pictures) AND a picture Mike took of me at dinner one night that was soley for Mary.....and I know MARY would NEVER EVER think of using that picture against me!! Pam knows what picture it is, don't you, Pam? (p.s. Mary, I've emailed that picture to you separately!)

Well....the thing is....Mike wasn't getting around to doing it. So I had to. That gave me control!!! I'm sure Mike would have just hit "copy" and "paste" and bam, there I would have been!

On the DSLR dust can get on the sensor and cause that problem. But if you don't exchange lenses...........

It's a canon rebel SLR (maybe a DSLR, but I don't know what the D is....digital?) So what do I do, oh, camera genius???

Yes maam, the D is digital

You can either take to a camera shop that will clean it, send it back to Canon or do it yourself. Check this link out! Several companies sell cleaning supplies to do it.
