Yep, I got this very nice smoothie dad day card today from Nick. :cool1: Very way cool, thank Nick for me.

He says "You're welcome!" and he also says "Cool, I'm drinking a smoothie right now!" (strawberry milkshake, actually....but close) Kids just got home from VBS and are famished. Had to feed them before tucking them into bed.
VBS this week. Acting camp the next. Church camp after that. :) It'll be back to school before I know it! :earseek:

That's very cool, Mark! I think there are a few of us who would love to adopt those Mouse kids!!

REALLY? No one has offered to take them!!!
Not like I'd REALLY give them up. They are very good kids in the scheme of things! :)

ok - if I did this right I have completed the scan of Costa Maja Chacchoben ruins...I spared you some dulicative shots and the artsy ones that did not turn out.....plus there should be lables....we will see when I save to disk.....more to scan tomorrow....

And a completed U-TOP - along with server busy and the **** tour by David and Ivan......time for chores and bed. later...

Nighty night...

I uninstalled the driver and the computer works. Thought it might have been just a bad install so I reinstalled the driver and it killed the computer.

Guess I need to spend a little time with Google.

I want to edit the DVD before sending it to Mark and others. I want to make sure everyone gets a chance to see Stacey and Jay in action. :rotfl:
Installing a new DVD burner to "spread the joy" of the Jay and Stacey show!!!! :happytv:

Maybe the signs are telling you something......... popcorn:: popcorn::

My printer is just an HP all-in-one...I guess that makes it an ink jet. And the paper is made by 3M...I just now noticed that's it's only 5mil. Pretty flimsy.

Think I'll stick with what I've been using...like Irene said....sticky squares.

But thanks for the idea of what to spend money on next! :teeth:

I am very partial to the Epson photo printers. The ones with ultrachrome inks provide outstanding prints that are archival. Another thing to consider is that you are usually best to match the paper brand to the ink brand ie Epson inks work best with Epson papers -- the ink will dry faster and last longer.

The little Epson 4x6 printers are pretty slick -- they cost about $0.30 a print.

(Peeks) Hello? Can I post now?

Yay, it worked! I've had two posts eaten today by the Server monster. And now I've forgotten what they said. Ah well.

Carry on.

My co-worker is in Scottsdale for meeting and they did not have any electricity at the resort on Sunday due to the forest fires. It was hot, hot, hot......

They have electricity at most of the resort today.

But the fires aren't anywhere near Scottsdale.......:confused3

I think I just did. One of my safer bets, though, since I knew you'd never give them up.

I have one of the small HP photo printers too, for fast jobs. It works pretty well. Never gave much thought to matching the paper with the machine. I usually only buy the heavier weight paper. I just found some paper that I've had great luck with....it's made by National Geographic. It seems to dry better and faster than the others I've tried.
I bought my All-in-One printer, because it's nice to make copies and scan too. I think I have to wait for two more anniversaries and two birthdays to pass before I can justify a photo printer. Then again.....:scratchin ....Jay IS very big on preserving family photos......

You just HAD to make me look, didn't you??? I wasn't looking at the 4x6, I was looking at the BIG ones. Are those all stand-alone printers, or do they connect to the computer?

I found that the best place to preserve a picture is on the computer.

Maybe some day I should print some off. :rotfl:

Scanning film.......not Shutters.....Tried the new printer Sam purchased - a Cannon Pixma --- did not have the patience....printer was set on 4x6 - but it printed only a portion of the print....very strange...must review settings but - not last night...Finished right when the Stanley Cup was over and saw the huurah and trophy presentation. Not a hockey fan, perhaps growing up in S. Fla. has something to do with it..ice - that is what is in your freezer...nothing against hockey but really, championship games when it is in the 90's.....goes against the natural order of things....
