Hope Bryce has fun! Catalina is a fun place to spend a few weeks of the summer.

Did he and you get a chance to look at the video? Turned out pretty well!

The DVD is great! I apologize for not letting you know we received it!!! We didn't pick up our mail for a few days so I think it was Wednesday when it was actually in our posession. We watched it right away. She's (Danielle?) got a fun job - she "has" to dive and then "gets" to charge $90 for the DVD I know it's not a steady income but maybe I should consider it anyway Did she go on the second dive? It was all from the first wasn't it?

Alan said Bryce was so nervous yesterday morning that he couldn't even eat breakfast. He's got a phone card - don't know when we'll hear from him though.

Matt is thinking the same thing. They can call it a 2 month land cruise, with backpacks.

Shane's also talked about being a foreign exchange student. I think he just wants to get away from his brother!

Days like today make me think Virgil might be right.

I updated my DVD driver and it shut down the computer. Would not even boot up. It took numerious safe mode boots to finally get the DVD driver removed and back to normal.

I'm sure Macs don't have these problems!!

Hmmmm.... Well - makes rarely have this issue due to the control Apple is able to exert over hardware. Rare occasion I've had and issue with an update to the operating system.......

Boy is it hot here in Dallas.... geez..... (Here for a meeting until Wednesday...)

It depends on what type of printer you are printing on. If is is a dye based inkjet then yes it will fade in several years. If it is a "pigment" based printer then the fading is supposed to take 100 yrs. Which printer are you using? Also what brand is the paper?

With all these cautions, I'd stick to stickey photo squares.....

56 more posts to another milestone and no one to chat to.... so, I will wait at the office for my phone calls to be returned.... which will tell me bad news. And then I will get in my car to go to my empty house... because you know who is diving without me and then I will check the computer before watching some to find out that someone has the milestone....

Mac users do have problems, but they (as a group) are more tight lipped about it. Windows based users are more used to whining about all of their troubles.....

No problem, just curious that it made it!! I thought Danielle did a good job, she mentioned to us (Jim and I) that the video was longer than normal because of the turtle footage! That was fine with me!!

She was not on the second dive, but went with a group of beginners doing a "Try Scuba" thing!! Not sure how well that worked out, since one of them was having a lot of trouble just in knee deep water..........

My printer is just an HP all-in-one...I guess that makes it an ink jet. And the paper is made by 3M...I just now noticed that's it's only 5mil. Pretty flimsy.

Think I'll stick with what I've been using...like Irene said....sticky squares.

But thanks for the idea of what to spend money on next!

I uninstalled the driver and the computer works. Thought it might have been just a bad install so I reinstalled the driver and it killed the computer.

Guess I need to spend a little time with Google.

I want to edit the DVD before sending it to Mark and others. I want to make sure everyone gets a chance to see Stacey and Jay in action.

My co-worker is in Scottsdale for meeting and they did not have any electricity at the resort on Sunday due to the forest fires. It was hot, hot, hot......
