Kevin just came in here, all ready to jump on a summer 2008 Eastern cruise. Until I reminded him that he doesn't like that itinerary. St. Martin and St. John are "just OK" for scuba diving.

Doesn't a "Just OK" dive beat a day at work?

Anyway....are we changing the date on the thread too? B/c the new ppl will get confused and think this is a thread from a past cruise....esp. if the first post talks about the May 27th, 2006 cruise. And after all, we want to pull the new people into our "cult" right???

For some reason, he was thinking that the Eastern goes to all the ports we're going to on the Southern Caribbean 11 day cruise. Sorry, hon.

Also, I would like to see the idea of a Ladies Tea at Palo's implemented. It would be nice to have a time to get to know the other women DIS'ers especially those whose kids are not the same age as yours. I know I saw the Tween parents because they tended to be in the same "pattern" I was. I didn't get to know the families with smaller children - ie my kids are too big for the Mickey Pool, etc.

And that means a dad time at Diversions so we can share our feelings over a few beers.

If (big IF) we are able to go in 2008, it would have to be in June since the Florida Legislature just mandated that school cannot start before the end of August, which puts us into a June ending date (Matt's graduation year)

Boy time flies, Matt's first Disney Cruise was when he was in 5th Grade and Lisa was in 1st Grade. (In 2008 it will be graduations from 12th and 8th Grade!!!)

Well, this is the post that I have been waiting for. Once the "do over" talk started I figured it was going to be a topic of discussion in our house.

Okay, We do BOTH! We create a nw thread with the appropriate (boring) title. But the only thing in that thread would be a single post containing nothing but a link to this thread.

OK, first the server eats my post, then it duplicates one. What's up with that? I like everyone's suggestions so far for the do-over cruise; shirts, group photo, etc. I can't think of anything else I'd add except to do back-to-back Eastern/Western .
