We just got this postcard in the mail from
Disney Cruise Line and they asked us to participate in this online survey about our cruise. It was really nice because you could comment on everything which you couldn't do with that survey they gave you onboard. Thought you all would like to know.
Yes. We've gotten that postcard nearly every single time we've sailed or stayed at a DVC resort. And it says on there we are part of a "small select group of people to get the card." Yeah, right.
Here are a few suggestions I gave to
DCL on their survey at the end of the cruise (I added index cards to my survey b/c I don't like that they give you two short lines to comment)
color code luggage tags for early or late dining people and have the room stewards give priority to the early dining people when delivering luggage.
have a photopass system like they do in the parks. we avoid as many Shutters pictures as possible b/c I hate standing there in the crowd of people trying to find my pictures (and my eyes start to blur after looking at the first 5,000 of them!)
go back to the old Navigators. the new ones are worthless.
guest services should be able to sell Bahamian stamps in the event that the post office isn't open on CC days....and in our case TWO CC days!! they did accept post cards and money and were going to send them the next day, but my point is I wanted to buy the STAMPS to take home and was unable to do that.
they need to have officers walking the halls to break up groups of teens/tweens who congregate in areas by staterooms. We've sailed DCL 8 times. 7 of those times were within a door or two of the midship elevators. This cruise was HORRIBLE when it came to noise. Teens and tweens were congregating in that little cove by the elevators (where the murals are on deck 6) and they were loud late into the evening. I hesitated calling guest services b/c I know that tends to make kids louder instead of quieter just to tick off the ppl who called.
IMHO the deck party is WAY too loud. I've never liked going b/c I can't even say something to ppl in my own family without screaming at them. And I see more kids with their fingers in their ears!! It doesn't have to be THAT loud.
There were more things, but I can't think of them off the top of my head.
Don't get me wrong....I LOVED the cruise. And I'm not a complainer. These are just suggestions of things that could improve, IMHO.....and after 8 cruises, I think I've got some credibility.

Of course, I haven't done FIFTY!
