I want to go to Tuscany AND do another DCL cruise in '08... guess that means I'd better win the lottery between now and then!!!!

(Plus, it's my parent's 50th anniversary... we talked about a family cruise... eeek... expensive year THAT's gonna be... and their anniversary is 6/21!!)

Now what are those lucky numbers???

Hey - we're family, too - just combine the DIS'ers with your family!!! :rotfl2:

confessions of a true DIS a holic - our last night of a no-kids week and we're sitting in seperate rooms DISing... :sad2:

and that's bad because????????? :confused3

at least your dh is "talking" to you. mine is in another room writing.

We just got this postcard in the mail from Disney Cruise Line and they asked us to participate in this online survey about our cruise. It was really nice because you could comment on everything which you couldn't do with that survey they gave you onboard. Thought you all would like to know.

Oh yeah... they're all nuts too... they'd fit right in...

But, being the only family member in FL, the rest of my crazy bunch will want to cruise out of NY or Boston and re-live our family vacations to Bermuda...

Who am I kidding... I'm still trying to get homeowners insurance for September... can't think about cruising again yet.. but it sure is fun to dream! (So, thanks for playing along...)

It won't be my fault if the house stays trashed - YOU suggested a 2nd thread for me to keep up with!!!!

We could just rename it the "June 7th or 14th 2006 Do-Over Cruise" thread.

I'm with Mary... just rename the thread and go for 100,000... but with John's great graphic!!!!!!

This time on the back of the T-shirts we could put a checklist of ALL the activities and you would have to get another DISer to check off things as you do them.

Actuall, now that I think about that there might be a few "interesting" items in that checklist. :rotfl2:

Yes. We've gotten that postcard nearly every single time we've sailed or stayed at a DVC resort. And it says on there we are part of a "small select group of people to get the card." Yeah, right.

Here are a few suggestions I gave to DCL on their survey at the end of the cruise (I added index cards to my survey b/c I don't like that they give you two short lines to comment)

color code luggage tags for early or late dining people and have the room stewards give priority to the early dining people when delivering luggage.

have a photopass system like they do in the parks. we avoid as many Shutters pictures as possible b/c I hate standing there in the crowd of people trying to find my pictures (and my eyes start to blur after looking at the first 5,000 of them!)

go back to the old Navigators. the new ones are worthless.

guest services should be able to sell Bahamian stamps in the event that the post office isn't open on CC days....and in our case TWO CC days!! they did accept post cards and money and were going to send them the next day, but my point is I wanted to buy the STAMPS to take home and was unable to do that.

they need to have officers walking the halls to break up groups of teens/tweens who congregate in areas by staterooms. We've sailed DCL 8 times. 7 of those times were within a door or two of the midship elevators. This cruise was HORRIBLE when it came to noise. Teens and tweens were congregating in that little cove by the elevators (where the murals are on deck 6) and they were loud late into the evening. I hesitated calling guest services b/c I know that tends to make kids louder instead of quieter just to tick off the ppl who called.

IMHO the deck party is WAY too loud. I've never liked going b/c I can't even say something to ppl in my own family without screaming at them. And I see more kids with their fingers in their ears!! It doesn't have to be THAT loud.

There were more things, but I can't think of them off the top of my head.
Don't get me wrong....I LOVED the cruise. And I'm not a complainer. These are just suggestions of things that could improve, IMHO.....and after 8 cruises, I think I've got some credibility. :) Of course, I haven't done FIFTY! :lmao:

Keeping it general "The First Eastern Cruise of June- or special itinerary whichever comes first in June 2008" :lmao:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Um... yeah...

(I think we'd need child and adult versions of that shirt!!)

But can't we keep the "il pochi" thingy? I like our slogan!

Kevin just came in here, all ready to jump on a summer 2008 Eastern cruise. Until I reminded him that he doesn't like that itinerary. St. Martin and St. John are "just OK" for scuba diving. For some reason, he was thinking that the Eastern goes to all the ports we're going to on the Southern Caribbean 11 day cruise. Sorry, hon.

Anything with rubber bands should not be listed..... :rotfl2:  :rolleyes1

I still say you're going to need someone to carry your luggage for you..... :guilty: :wave2: :dance3:

Are you also talking about changing the date on the title of the thread? After all, we want the new ppl to be able to find us so we can pull them into our little cult!!! :lmao:

but they may get confused if the date is wrong or the first post says "May 27, 2006"

:confused3 :confused3
