yes. that's it. 10 days finishing on the 26th. that was one of our big reasons fro cancelling that cruise....b/c the day b4 you get off is Christmas. 10 days of perfect vacation and then the last day with packing and hurrying....and it's Christmas day.

bad enough the LAST 10 day cruise forced me to disembark on my birthday!!!

I just checked the reservations page - 16-26 so the 4 day turnaround would be the Magic. In 2005, the 4 day turn around was on Jan. 2nd.

OM, I'm with you. The parents that signed up to sell tickets at the dress rehearsal either did not show, or they hid very well. So I and another team Mom got to cover that. Whenever there was a number one of our girls was in, we would switch off. Problem is, they were in several numbers together. But it all went OK. The studio owner decided to have a big bow at the end, with all the kids coming out. So instead of the 3 and 4 year olds leaving after their number was onstage, they had to wait until everyone for their show danced. THAT was fun. And we had to be out of the theater by 9:30 sharp. Alicia had the most stuff strewn around the dressing room, and was of course in the last number to dance. So we made it out with 30 seconds to spare! Fun fun.

But it will be a good show. And it will all be over soon!

I do enjoy seeing the littlest ones discover their inner ham. Isn't that the best part of recitals?

Hi Diana!

Yes...I LOVE seeing the tiny little ones in their tutus and other costumes. The little ones were the bumblebees, butterflies and flowers in The Secret Garden....their costumes were darling!
But Jordan was in charge of the dressing room, and she said dealing with the little ones was a nightmare!

For me it is my box of gernola bars (as if the ship will run out of food) or the five bottles of sunblock (as if I can't buy more if we run out)

Well, I have my suitcase almost totally done. I had to stop, because Jared had a game. Then they voted for the players they thought should go to the All Stars series. Jared got voted in for that....there go my plans to visit my parents in late June/early July. I think I'll make Jared call and tell them.
Then I took him to dinner, so we haven't been home for too long.

I need to go finish that bag, or I won't be able to go to bed.....it's ON my bed.

Well.. as you can see I'm up in the middle of the night. Have been up now for 1 hour. Tomorrow, or today will not be pretty. Had Chinese food around 8:30 tonight which is late for me. That's what I get.
